Goosebumps.
Some of Firmino's touches are just magical. You forget how many great passes Salah has played as well, some amazing through balls.
We were truly lucky to have the 3 of them together at the peak of their powers. And although I'd have happily seen Firmino stay for another year, it's the right time. He's too good to sit out the final years of his career on our bench and I'm sure Bobby will get the reception to end all receptions at his final Anfield game.
Brilliant video that.
Those three were sensational, we may not see again like it.
Sad to see Bobby has decided to leave but I think it’s the right decision for everyone.
So many great goals not even covered in that video. We were truly blessed with those 3.
Something that has crept up on me... Salah is currently 1 goal behind Fowler's premier league record of 128 goals for LFC. Here's hoping he breaks the record on Sunday, no better way to do it. I know football didn't start in 1992 but when he eventually leaves I do wonder where Salah will stand in our list of all time greats.
Top 5 without a doubt
Top 3 forwards
It's a good question. I think most people would have Kenny and Stevie as top 2.
Then I guess Salah would be in with the likes of Barnes, Suarez, Keegan, Rush, Souness.
Tempted to say he'd be third. Barnes was a childhood idol, loved him, but objectively Salah is probably better.
Hull v West Brom is the worst Friday night football match I can think of in a long time.
Even in our heyday did we have a great right winger? He will get in our best ever 11. Mane has John Barnes on his side of the wing and Barnes takes that while Bobby is competing with Kenny and Keegan.

Bobby wouldn’t get in our top 50 players. He was great for our system, but individually he doesn’t come close to so many of our best.

Of course we did - Craig Johnston. He developed the Predator football boots. How many boots has Mo developed?
In my lifetime McManaman was the only other RW I can really think of. Underrated player was Macca, but not in Salah's class.
turned down a new contract, doing us a favour with that imo.
Won't forget him, its a shame for him and all the other players that they were cheated out of more titles
Greatest right wingers in the history of football is a short conversation really, let alone at Liverpool.

Definitely top 10, probably top 5 for me. Kenny and Stevie are 1 and 2. Then probably Rush just because I can't see anyone breaking his goals record anytime soon.
But then I'm too young to remember some of the other greats like Hughes, Hunt, St John, Neal, Kennedy, Liddell, and even Souness was before my time...

Fair point. Robben, Figo, Messi and Beckham are the only ones I can think of in my lifetime as being standout. Debatable whether you can call Messi a right winger too. Beckham more of a midfielder as well.
Robben is one of the modern greats I guess. Cut in and shoot with his left, predictable but nobody figured out how to stop him!
Garrincha is generally considered the best isn’t he? Way, way before my time so have no clue whether that’s true or not.

Firmino will 100% get the Scholes effect from oppo fans once he leaves.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
nah hes not played enough recently and was in clear decline well before his latest long spell out? Also Manes left, big part of his career, someone who got the best out of Mane and Salah in our system, something we've moved away from clearly.
Salah makes the PL eleven imo
Salah and Mane have always been on a different level for me. Firmino was a great player for us though and certainly brought the best out of them.
Firminio had always been the Lando type facilitator to Han <mane> and Luke <Salah>.

Spent yesterday afternoon down the quays in Portsmouth.
Mexican food, cocktails, and beers with Mrs and friends.
