that theres a medical?
He tweeted earlier today that there was no contact between the clubs
read his top tweet, your the type of person hes talking about
Tbh, the price being low is just the cherry on top. The main thing here is we've just signed a player who will immediately improve us. On the evidence of last year, significantly improve us.

Either way...tweeting there's no agreement the morning Mac is pictured leaving from his medical is just madness
Could be his release clause is below 45m but for CL teams only? We're paying a bit more because we're not in the CL but he still wants to join us?
snn also saying 55, maybe it reaches that with some addons?
Kash will get his wish of FSG spending less than £100m.
Schmatdke will need to get creative to make it a sell to buy summer though.

Tsimikas and Matip are rumoured to be the most likely on their way out
Prob get what we paid back for Tsimikas which was what 12m? Doubt we'd get anything for Joel? so also what we paid for him

This guy has been wrong throughout tbh.
For context Wijnaldum was £25m about 7 years ago, £35m surely isn't right
If that £35m value is true we could actually be looking at getting him, Kone and Thuram for around the same price as Bellingham.
him, the bbc and sky all saying 55, only romano the known bshtter says 35, have to see what paul joyce says
If Brighton correspondents say 55 and Liverpool correspondents say 35...then it's mostly likely 45
he's a better player if he costs £55m so hopefully that's the correct figure
Didn't think the 35m sounded right. Some very reliable people now saying it's north of 45m and could reach 55m.
Still a good signing though. I like him as a player.
This clause talk and reduced fee stories only came out after we appointed Schmadtke.
He's better than Edwards

For sure, without the clause thing itd have been north of 80m i imagine based on rejected fee for Caicedo, what they got for Cucurella etc.

hope brighton force the money they lost out on onto caciedos transfer
Brighton to sign Colwill for 40m
We should have dropped Mac and signed Colwill instead. Be like Brighton.
Sounds like the Mac deal is just like the Aquilani one. £5m up front then the rest in optional add ons that we never have to pay because they're optional.

yeah that bid will get rejected, unless they sort something out to do with caicedo
Apparently his father negotiated the 35m release clause as he was in his last year of contract. Brighton couldn't have foreseen he would shine at the world cup.
Get two PNP players and the rebuild of the midfield is finished.
