Klopp wasn't as adamant about Mo this time but surely its simply too late.

Tbh I'm a little worried by all this.

On a plus point Utd have signed Reguilon. Quite looking forward to playing that mob for once.

Want to see Endo, AMA Szoboszlai vs Villa anyway and hopefully keep 11 on the pitch this time.

Bit of rhythm, consistency and a home win please.

Win Saturday and it’ll be a great start to the season, certainly better than anyone realistically expected I’d say.

He’s probably sick of addressing the same question. Hopefully decided to wum the press.

Yep, that's all fine but to suggest that Konate, Matip and Gomez historically struggle to cover the rcb position is, well, let's call it erroneous.

I don’t know tbh, I think he stays but wouldn’t be gobsmacked if he went.

Especially if the offer is 150 plus million.

It would be a complete disaster imo, and probably set me against the owners, it would completely derail the season.

Salah stays. Had they bud £150m a month ago I think he’d be playing in the pro league by now but they didn’t and now it’s far too late.

Smashing the world record fee is the only way it gets done before next year.

posted on 1/9/23

If they’re willing to pay 150m now, they’ll still pay that or close to it in January. We have nothing whatsoever to gain now and everything to lose.

Jurgen Klopp said Liverpool have received no offer for forward Mohamed Salah, as far as he was aware...

When asked if there had been any change, he said: "The position remains the same. Absolutely no doubt about that. That's how it is. Nothing else to say."

He was asked again if any offer had come in from a Saudi side for Salah?

"Not as far as I know but that doesn't mean a lot to be honest," replied Klopp.

I'm willing to bet that somehow Thiago still won't be available after international break.

Without a doubt, am a bit worried though Emery is no mug (quite the tactician infact) and Villa are a decent side. If they play the high line they usually do we should cause them a lot of problems though.

If he's sold it will only be with Klopp's blessing, so not sure how much we could blame the owners.

I doubt our best player leaving on deadline day would have his blessing, and the only way it happens is over his head. IMO.

Perhaps but I also doubt they'd ever sell someone, or at least someone that important, against his wishes.

It's one of the very few things that could cause him to walk in my opinion.

FSG wouldn't decide to sell anybody. It would be the team who deal with transfers, which includes Klopp.

It's very annoying their window doesn't close for another week so we have to put up with the speculation until then.

Generally speaking yes, but I’d say something like this would involve some input from Henry himself.

Rumours we'll finally see a bid for Salah today, no idea why they've waited until deadline day.

Funny thing is if they bid circa £150m 3 months ago they'd probably have got him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

They're doing a fake-bid to try and assuage their fans. Classic FSG playbook, Warnock has it figured.

It's not their deadline day. They've got until the 7th September.
