We let them win that though, sloppiest passing I can remember from us. Also Osimhen down every two minutes was pathetic

As crap as we've been against Palace and Gala, at least our fitness showed - you can tell both Palace and Gala tired in second half and normally we would take advantage of that but it's a bit of an off week

Apparently the ball in play in the 2nd half was just 11 minutes. That ref was so weak.

Not too worried about the Gala result itself as we still qualify east, it is more the performances.

Chelsea is the important one on Saturday. Been a while since we won at Stamford bridge and we have been pretty crap performance wise there in recent years too.

We really need our big players to step up, deliver a better performance and get us a win. Talk about the system all you like but we have had a lot of underperforming players and that’s been the main issue.

To be fair Alisson and Van Dijk have been fine. Then it's Robbo who's obviously not a starter anymore.

So it's just Salah that's been out of form but we know it's the system. After that it's Macca, who is clearly not fit.

Those are the only "big" players I recognise.

u sure? frankfurt battered gala we got them away next? we have to play RM still? Marseille are no pushovers they should have beaten RM away and we have them away, inter away too. Only 2 im still confident of winning are PSV at home and carrier bag at home lol.

Yeah we’ve been facked over with our champions league fixtures. Our home form should see us through but I think everyone apart from PSV are above us atm. Early days obviously.

Galatasray away is a tough game for anyone, especially English teams. But obviously Kash doesn’t agree.

We’ve seen it before that players who didn’t look great in the Prem, find a team and system in which they excel.

Radix springs to mind. Absolute bobbins at Southampton, absolutely tore it up in the CL for Ajax.

I felt this would be a very tough game, and it was. We lost by the odd goal to a penalty as a result.

Selective stats there.

Their last CL win at home was 2018 before playing us this week and that was their first clean sheet in 24 European matches. It’s a poor result. We should be winning comfortably there.

The selective stats are based on this seasons form and players. I really don’t think that’s unreasonable, and more reasonable than quoting stats from best part of a decade ago.

I get Slot is obviously still figuring things out so the tinkering will continue but he didn't exactly get it right either. It's kinda hard to judge the players while he's still figuring things out

Yeah we’ve basically got 5 new players coming into our first team. It was always going to take some time, even with the best manager in the world. Definitely gives Arsenal an advantage with a settled team, but when we actually gel. Look out.

Also doenst help that the regulars in Konate, Macca, Salah and Gakpo aren’t in good form. Recipe for disaster, but it’ll come.

Got a new phone earlier this year and for some reason, every time I write Powerleague it's in all caps. No idea why, and I can't get rid of it either, hate that for me

Against Palace our problem (first half at least) was defending but last two games have shown we're having issues in the build-up too

Maybe we're missing Trent on that front. He was doing build-up while our midfields job was covering the gaps but now, our midfield is doing the build-up and cover. Minor issues, still think we'll be OK eventually

I’ve had real issues with autocorrect over the years. Can’t remember what it was but Fred told me to install some keyboard extension and it worked a treat.
