Really disappointed in Cook, he just cannot take criticism. He has come out now and said look at his record and these criticisms of his leadership are personal attacks. No they are not they are criticisms of the post you hold Mr Cook. The Captain should be there to lead the Team selected, he or she should not have any influence what so ever on who is selected or dropped, it is a totally outdated concept. Do Rugby or Football Captains select who plays? Cook has also been out of form for months and he has to accept that tactically he is not the best and also like other 'When I's' he cannot live off past achievements, every new test series is a new slate and after every new test within that series the Squad should be re-evaluated.

Cook may have a good record but thats only because of the team he was left with when he took over. He had the likes of Swann, KP, Trott & Anderson all on top top form when he took over.

Now that 3 of them are gone and the other on the way down we will see how he really does.
