Herath is now set and playing some beautiful shots. Played a superb innings so far but the seamers have extracted very little and have allowed the Sri Lankan lower order to settle.
I wont give credit to Sri-lanka.. England should beat Sri-lanka at home.. That's not being arrogant.Its not good enough.. sure Mathews as done great,. but England have been utter useless.

How Kohli and Pujara might murder this english team now , I wonder. English fielders , be prepared for sore legs.
Anderson's attitude has been poor this innings. His consistency and swing has been poor and arguing with Bowden before tea hasn't helped over poor LBW shouts and a wide call that was definitely wide. Maybe that played in Bowden's mind when giving that caught behind not out because there was a clear nick. Quite remarkable how Bowden didn't hear that and combined with England wasting their reviews nothing is going their way.
Take a bow Mathews might just have taken the game away from England - fantastic knock from a very under appreciated player.

This wicket is really flat. Remember earlier this year Sri Lanka gave Pakistan 80 odd overs to chase 300 plus and Pakistan did it with ease. If England play Herath well then the rest should not do much damage after new ball.
