I thought we had a considerably better team at the last World Cup to be honest, and failed miserably. We lost to Bangladesh and Ireland ffs

Only due to the most incredible batting collapse by South Africa (lost by 5 runs after chasing a total of 170 ) and West Indies did we get out our group before getting destroyed by SL.

We have a worse team on paper but we have a few players in form this time. Let's see what happens, we are definitely the most unpredictable team in international ODI cricket.

True about last time, but england have always struggled in sub continent conditions. This is different. Players in form, conditions to suit, Cook gone, KP troubles behind them, genuine quicks and a good mix of youth and experience... Semi is a cert.

I wont be suprised if we lost against afghanistan. Let nothing suggest that we have inform players. There isnt any at the moment. every batsmen at the moment is struggling big time. And we dont have genuine hitters at the end of an innings who can score quick runs.

MS in these conditions will generally take his time and tbh it will be too much for him to make much of a difference.

Losing to afghanistan might just be a good thing(just maybe). cant get worse than that for sure. Its pretty funny that India have been in aus for 2months, more than England have, and yet they are still not able to adapt to the conditions. The idea of taking odi players with them in the test series hasnt helped either. Raina has struggled big time here and he looks like he wants to go back home.
