It's not nonsense. It just means that they aren't first choice. It's just a fact. It is what it is and isn't an "excuse". Very proud of the way they conducted themselves today considering their inexperience....

Agree that Pakistan would need to play outta their skins to chase this... You'd rather be in Indias position than Pakistans at this stage.

We've chased 300 against india plenty of times. Not in the WC though. But have done it more than once on recent ODI tours to india.but if we lose early eickets, we tend to bottle it
India only playing four front line bowlers. Rahane was wasted today. Could essentially come down to that.

Pakistan have never chased more than 262 successfully in a World Cup match. India have always defended 300 in World Cup matches, from cricinfo. Interesting stats.
