Your win was a lot less than convincing yesterday wasn't it? A deflection and being 0-1 down at home tells me your form is very scratchy and shaky. I'm just waiting to see what happens to Chelsea after your first defeat, you'll probably go on a run of poor results. A late winner too. If you don't beat Norwich by 3 or 4 goals next week you could be in trouble yourselves.

Well written article, 5 s from me.

Catwoman predicted Chelsea and Arsenal will struggle to get into top 4. Only time will tell how good Spurs are.

We were 1-0 down thanks to a handball goal and another 2 stonewall penalties not given

We were poor by our standards but the difference between ourselves and the likes of Spurs is we can play poorly and win.

I couldn't care what the score is vs Norwich as long as we win, there are no easy games in the PL and at this stage of the season it' just good to get points on the board. WBA are a good side and will finish top half this season no question

This is a team that came back from 2-0 down to draw at OT, came from behind to beat Liverpool, came from behind to draw with Spurs on two ocassions, beat Arsenal at the Emirates convincingly and held them at the Hawthorns, they are no pushovers

This is the team that started with two 6-0 wins last season and were a few pints ahead and dropped out of the top 4 twice. This time you've started with a 0-0 and a scratchy 2-1 and by all reports WBA could easily have extended their lead.
Shut up MafiaBoy.

bubbles is emulating his beloved Chelskys' current form.

He has just dropped to the level of WUM wannabe we see in peterbaey, JHDI etc.

And this is a nostalgic one for RRP :

How stupid I am if I say, you should beat Wigan every time 9-1, in fact you lost to them in the last encounter.

As if WBA were going to lose 6-0 two years in a row? They are a much better and more confident team than they were then, in contrast we are not as good as we were this time last year. WBA at home is not an easy game, as I said this is a team that were unbeaten away from vs Spurs, United and Arsenal, amassing 7 goals between the 3, that isn't down to luck it is because they now have good strikers to put away the chances for the good football they play

From the good start you had last season your strikers gradually lost their scoring touch and will do so again this season. You hit a couple of blips from an excellent start. This time you have not had such an excellent start but the same drop in form will happen to you.

Catwoman :

Chelsky are learning the folly of wasting money on Torres + manager severance pay.

All that just to stand still in the PL.

You can see why they want to buy Modric.
Not because of what he will do for them, but what will happen when (sorry Chelsky fans - I meant "if" ) a big club like Man Utd buy him.

Buy a player out of spite rather than utility - how sad is that.

So when two of our forwards score we are losing our scoring touch?

Chelsea will always score goals, over the last few seasons we have scored more goals than any other team, we will have a dip in form but it's how you respond to it that makes you stronger

posted on 21/8/11

Oh,at last some football debate from you Bubbles. You went from the double to nothing in 2 seasons, let's just wait and see what happens and RBDB is right, you might need Modric sooner than you think. I'm not sure just how long Vilas will last under Abram if the results start to falter.

posted on 21/8/11

Also our forwards are scoring aren't they? It doesn't mean to say that they will maintain it. One of your goals was a deflection wasn't it? Last season Drogba's arm controlled the ball which led to your goal at WHL so it happens that your team gets lucky toom as you claim that WBA were yesterday.
