"... if they think people are falling for it they're mistaken."
I think you may have missed a few of the comments on this thread.
Four young boys – members of the same family – playing football and hide and seek on the beach were killed today by what is believed to have been gunfire from Israeli warships carrying out a blockade of Gaza.
There was grief and rage with an uncle, Abdel Kareem Bakr, accusing the Israeli forces of “cold blooded massacre”.
“It’s a shame they didn’t identify them as just kids with all the advanced technology they had been using,” he said. “I don’t know what justification they will use for what they did, but our boys are now gone.”
If any of the Israel supporting posters here can genuinely tell me that they think the loss of civilian lives are worth it in order to get rid of Hamas then fair enough - But i'm yet to see any of them give a direct answer to that.

America is fúcked here - They simpky have to support Israel in public no matter what but it's becoming obvious that even they are horrified by what's going on.
Would be interesting to see what happened if the States did actually publicly condemn Israel for what they are doing - They might win back some support around the world if they did.

Fair play to you though because you were clearly targeting that guy who punched you with that bomb you dropped on his house but his kids were being used as shields. It is what it is.
The fact that they were Buddhists and I'm a Seikh was just an added bonus.
Seikh
What religiously poor spelling.

I find America's stance in all this sickening. The fact that they stay quiet, turn a blind eye, and support Israeli all because they don't want to upset the Israelie population in US is an absolute disgrace.
How bad would it actuallly have to get before America did something?
Well one look at what ISIS are doing to Christians in Iraq suggests they probably won't do anything regardless.
Why is it obvious that America is horrified about whats going on ? If that were true, they would surely intervene as they ave in many other countries.
Apparently John Kerry has been caught off camera several times expressing concerns about what Israel are doing only to go on camera being fully supportive of them.
The problem is that you're not allowed to have a personal opinion if you're in the US government.

Tacit support equals collusion.
I suppose it depends what i/you mean when we refer to 'America' - The government may have their own personal opinions of it, but ultimately they collectively must play to the tune of the Zionists.
Although if i were Obama and personally disliked what Israel was doing, would it not be worth making a stand if you felt you were doing the right thing? Not like he's got another election to run in.
Would go some way to making up for the NSA and drones shíte he's been so keen on since he became president.
So, if what you say is true, the most powerful military machine on the planet is run by a few thousand Zionists. That needs to change and soon.

Is that a new concept to you?
It's pretty much the reality.
America is no longer allowed to intervene
It would just be called an illegal occupation and be a disaster for them.
The protests over Afghanistan and Iraq mean that it's no longer a viable option for them to step in and stop madness and evil. Because it will be spun into some other agenda of oil or business interests and they'll be crucified for it.
America is out of the global cop game.
Well they should at least shoulder the responsibility for what's going on in Iraq surely? Created the civil war, armed ISIS in Syria?
Not sure anyone could disagree if they sent in some troops to help the Iraqi army. No one is being overthrown - Just an insurgency they created being stopped.
In terms of Gaza - Not sure they could ever intervene militarily against Israel - They could impose sanctions, withdraw military aid.
The 'good' thing about USA-Israel is that the latter is dependent on the former's support for its military.
Withdrawing support would be just as effective as any military intervention.
(I base this on pretty much nothing )
Not really, just something that badly needs changing.
