And if Ulloa was so great. Why has it taken him over 10 years to get to this level, as his previous best was Almeria
Continuously have? Are you sure about that? Anelka? Bednar? Mattock? Which signings are you referring to?
Personally I'm excited about someone getting on the end of our crosses. We've been crying out for a quality no. 9 and if NP thinks he's the man then so do I. Pearson has an excellent track record and our scouts have unearthed our whole team pretty much.,
He's only 28 and has been in England for two seasons which is normal progression I'd say. Now he's at his peak and in the Premier League, perfect!

Ha ha we'll see I guess but his 39 goals in La Liga make him more of a threat than Ideye's 33 in the Unibond 👍
What resale value do you think you'll get on him when you inevitably get relegated?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
If Ideye scores 15 goals we will probabl flog him to Liverpool for £20m. If he flops we could easily get 75% of our money back. Im more confident in the proven scouting network of a club that knows what it takes to be a prem player than a club who signs players off the chumpo top scorers list though...
Good luck to him, stop being so defensive
Just we had last seasons top championship goal scorer and he struggled. So clearly that's a possibility
It's always a possibility that any player that has never played in the Premier League will be a flop but I don't know why he'll warrant at least 75% back? How do you come to that figure?
I also have a lot of faith in our scouting system and our head scout brought Zola to the Premier League when he was at Chelsea so he knows what he's doing too!
NP puts a huge amount of thought into his signings based on their character and ability to play the style of football he wants and he hasn't failed with a single signing yet!
What style of football do you play?

Not sure if you have noticed but we have a new manager and we are yet to play a competitive match so its hard to tell.
Didn't take a genius to spot Zola.
Knocking an ex Chelsea scouts credentials now?
You have a set of players that presumably have been playing a certain style of football so how was that?
I hope Irvine's experience with Everton's youth team gives him the ability to stamp his mark on a Premier League team and not be sacked before Christmas.
Isn't it your bedtime in Australia?

Attractive football under Mowbray and Di Matteo.
Rigid football under Hodgson.
Attractive football for a season under Clarke which gradually got worse.
Mel tried to improve the style of play but we were poor all through last season.
As 50% of our playing staff have been replaced(with better) and we have a new head coach who is still to complete his squad or even decide on the best XI then there is no way anyone can answer your question.
What I will say from experience is that coming up from the championship and expecting to win with attacking attractive football is a dangerous game. If that is how you play then, like us 5-10 years ago and Blackpool when they came up, expect a few 4/5-0 drubbings along the way.

Just got back off holiday and catching up on things Albion.
Seems we have Leicester's version of Pundit on here alot.
Good read arro
Good target to try and get to all the countries.
I am aiming for at least 100 and by the end of next year should be at around 70ish.
Wasting your time with this lot, they still spend most of their time talking about Wolves instead of the prem.

Heisenberg I'm trying to have a normal debate about football and the cost and value of players but it's been a lot harder than anticipated.
Cinci where have you been and where's next?

You've been on here all night. Slow week in the rent boy game?
Where next for Cinci? Probably McDonalds via Taco Bell with a quick stop at Pizza Hut
Hey Arro.
Next is Bogota for a few days, then Buenos Aires before travelling overland through Uruguay, back into Argentina, then Brazil with a little sneak into Paraguay before heading through Sao Paolo to Rio De Janeiro.
Away for a month
Xmas i went through Central America, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala.
Live in the states these days.
Wouldn't mind living in Oz at some point, great country, been a couple of times.
Love SE Asia as well.
What about you, where you lived?
Ah I get cinciwolf now 👍
That trip is just what I was planning for the World Cup but with Chile too but had to pay uni fees instead but I'll go another time.
I've lived in China, Japan, NZ and now Australia. Been to every country in Europe expect for Belarus and Leichtenstein, pretty much all SE Asia except for Brunei, Indo and Phillipines, USA, Canada, Sri Lanka, UAE and quite a few more.
Planning on finishing off Asia in November with Borneo volunteering with Orangutans on the agenda. Then back home after for a few games after Christmas via India and Qatar and return through Morocco and South Africa.
My girlfriend hasn't been to Europe yet so I'll have to take her on a little roady too and I want to go snowboarding so I've got a pretty decent trip planned, 16 countries all up.
Yeah nobody has kept to topic and this is preventing the childish behaviour but you're welcome to leave an on topic comment if you wish 👍
