Lack of knowledge dj

We want to stay at anfield because it's the home of lfc, arsenal are just a corporate plastic club who happily left highbury so they can scam your fan base with outrageous ticket prices

All your can answer back is "lack of knowledge" even though I have backed up everything I said with evidence.
Your accusation against Arsenal has been well and truly smashed apart yet you still sit here pretending things that happened didn't.

How is the Stanley Park stadium that was scheduled to open in 11/12?
Oh, hang on. Liverpool never were going to leave Anfield as they are a classy club who do not sell out...

You absolute joke of a man, Knappyrash.

Come back when you back your claims about Arsenal with facts.

Hey don't shoot the messenger, even your players recognize you have underachieved

Players will always make their own choices regarding their individual destinies. Most careers in the top-flight rarely go beyond 7 years which is a blink of an eye for any footballing institution.
The thing that is unforgivable however, is posters with an unclear grasp of contruction finance, peddling falsehoods to support tenuous arguments.
All opinions raised here will be tested .

To be fair cinciwolf, Wolves are a big club - a sleeping giant, but have so clearly failed in terms of both short term and long term vision. You've had an unfinished stadium for decades now. Hayward did his bit, ploughed money into the club (your comment about Wolves doing it the "right way" means what exactly - organic growth, or growth from investment?), but still the stadium has suffered from long term planning. The Steve Bull stand built in the 70s was it - so far away from the pitch, whereby the long term vision was for the stadium overall to be "moved" but instead ended up being a vision that was unfinished. Hayward completed the job with several generic stands, and now Morgan has come along, rebuilt Stan Cullis stand, which was only ever phase one of the redevelopment, and now you're left with a mis-match again, while finding the club in a lower league. When will phase 2 (and then phase 3 and 4) start? In another 20 years or so when stadiums will have invariably moved on so much that it may be the case that you'll have to start again?

Wolves have, for decades now, got it all so very very wrong. I can relate - we saw similar at City, trying to develop a stadium at a huge cost that resulted in impacting so much on the club overall that we went into freefall. City are fortunate that we came back from that, Wolves - well, it remains to be seen. You were a big, successful club at one time (50s mainly), since then the club has been a joke, much like City were in the 80s and 90s.

Arsenal should be applauded, not ridiculued, for their long term vision. The Emirates stadium is a fantastic stadium, and it did hinder the progress of the club, but despite that the club still managed to maintain its position at the top of English football (regular CL qualification). So while the trophies dried up over the last decade, the club didn't suffer too badly, unlike Wolves, who have suffered tremendously.

Why a Wolves fan would try and belittle Arsenal, when had Wolves been able to maintain their position (as Arsenal have done) while developing the club, the stadium etc, then the likes of you would have no doubt been very proud of that. Yet here you are, attempting to laugh at fans who support a club that is, in every way, so so much better than the one you support.

Jog on dj you're all over the shop trying to tell me things I already know.

Arsenal left for a big plastic corporate ground and charge by far the highest ticket prices, ripping off their fan base every week.

posted on 4/8/14

Kneerash,
Unlike in London, the major clubs "up there" enjoy a massive catchment area for potential match-going fans. A projected capacity of 58000 seats will mean astronomical prices if the expected revenues of £90-100 million are to be met.
With 4 separate stands, at least the planners have left the option of future expansion on the table. This would still fly in the face of the "historic identity" of the stadium.

So Highbury was easy to redevelop, and Arsenal moved just for profit...

What a clueless wee boy you are.

Liverpool have gone from one plan to another to another to another, back to the second plan them back to the first plan, with a lot of mistakes and probably money wasted in the process.

You were up til last season in a 4 horse race and finished 3rd or 4th.

We have been a complete shambles in recent times, you won't see me blindly defend it like you guys do

You're wrong. Population of Greater Manchester is 2.7 million. Population of Cheshire is just over 1 million. Population of Merseyside is 1.38 million. That's two Cities and one county

Population of Greater London alone - over 8 million.

Yes it is all relative. Arsenal, relatively speaking, have done a hell of a lot better than Wolves ever have, relatively speaking.

Yet here you are, ridiculing Arsenal. For doing so much better relatively speaking than Wolves have done.

i am ridiculing Arsenal for clearly underachieving for 9 years, something players at the club also acknowledge.

Whats the problem?

Have you seen the number of clubs we have in London? I have seen households with individual allegiances of upto five different top-flight clubs. The football pyramid is massive.

There is no problem. The bottom line is that Wolves deserve to be ridiculed a hell of a lot more, relatively speaking, than you could ever ridicule Arsenal.

Cinci is judging Arsenal against the over achievements of Wengers first 9 years and is unable to process the fact that we could not maintain that position at the top in the long term without sacrificing the short term.

In many ways I think he is looking jealously on, and cursing the massive failure of his own club in comparison to the wonderful position Arsenal have put themselves in.
It is much the same as how people look jealously at City and Chelsea, wishing they had their own billionaire giving them success, or at United wishing they had built up such a legacy, following and profitability to become one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Cinci is jealous.

"North West" ? My point exactly.
You will also find the academy structures with the deepest pools of talent here.

Yeah plenty of money wasted and the club owes the local community allot, that's why staying at anfield is so important, but these are the things I've already told you you know nothing about so pointless lowering myself to debate with a stupid caant

And where have i claimed that not to be the case? I ridicule Wolves when they deserve it, i am not a blind fan.

But also worth noting we are in a group of about 20-25 clubs and have been at the top end of that group in the last 9 years, so relatively speaking we have achieved more than Arsenal pound for pound in that time still.

Getting relegated to League 1 from the position you were? Congratulations, do they have a trophy for that?
