Interesting
However stats never tell the whole story. I am a huge fan of Welbeck however and I think he will surprise some people under LVG
lol at Giroud misplacing about 10 passes a game.
All relative, depending how much time they had on the pitch. For a striker though, the stats that matter for me are goals and assists. Not saying that passing isn't an important part of the game, because it is. It's just that scoring is the most important thing for a striker (obviously).
Going by the stats you have provided, it looks that Welbeck is better than RVP, when we all know he isn't.
As if Welbeck and Hernandez had the best passing accuracy.

Definitely true. Although when you pair the stats together they sort of paint a picture. Mostly of how creative the strikers are.
Looking at Welbeck and Hernandez, both have the top 2 pass percentages but the bottom 2 key passes per game. So they aren't really creating much at all.
And yes, sub appearances do play a large part. Especially with Hernandez's 8 passes per game He had 18 appearances off the bench last year
So it seems all us Chelsea fans were right about Lukaku
Seems to me that Rooney is the best all around football player of the strikers
Also, what constitutes a key pass?
Is it being part of a move that leads to a goal?
Winning corners = 50M well spent
Giroud not much better than Torres then.

I think so, although I've never known to be honest. I think it might include leading to a shot on goal as well.
Worth noting the players that play lone striker, as they should naturally have more key passes as a lot more goes through them.
Sorry but you can't read anything into these stats or most stats. The one that matters is the position they finish at the season's end. It's a team game and look at a team like Atletico Madrid to see a prime example of a team playing out of their skin for each other. Messi, Iniesta, Ronaldo, Bale have all the stats but who picked up the trophy !

This proves absolutely nothing. You're comparing an individual's stats with a team. And Bale and Ronaldo did pick up arguably the most important trophy!
I think when comparing player to player, stats tell a story. Not the whole thing, but they're often dismissed just because they aren't the be all end all of discussion
Atletico are a bit of an anomaly.
Hernandez with the 2nd best Passing Percentage in the league thats a surprise. I always said its unfair to say "he is crap outside the box". this kind of proves that he has a decentish allround game
Well he's only making about 9 passes per game, which is fack all.

Even then Chico's passing accuracy still 20% higher than that of Torres, Lukaku. Its a pretty telling stats especially when considering some people think Lukaku is great at holding up the ball and bringng others in to play
20% higher than that of Giroud as well
Suarez > Aguero > Daylight > The rest of that list....
They make much more passes, though, especially Lukaku and both are crap at passing anyway.
I don't need to see passing accuracy stats to see that Suarez, RVP and Rooney are better passers of the ball.
So the stats aren't that telling.
Well I only count on of what I see. 100% better than any stats.
Rooney, RVP, suarez, Aguero all have a better allround game and better passers than Hernandez, there is no question about it.
this shows chica's allround game is not dog shittte as some suggests. Apart from passing he also got a pretty decent cross in him, he is pretty decent for a goal hanger

You think Giroud's a good player. Therefore your opinion is worthless.
