Don't blame him, Shaw is overhyped massively. If this is true it's a very strange for him to sanction the deal, must be for his future potential. Still, I don't see the fuss about him.

bit of a struggle in this match is not necessarily a bad thing. It could convince Ed to go out and buy couple of genuine quality players rather than relying on LVG's genius to get us top 4

Like I side this is the realization.We've got good player but we need that extra spark,preferably a player who can create something out of nothing out wide.

He's a decent fb, not much more than that, with decent raw attributes. Take the blinkers off and you'll see.

If he really needed a proper wingback should have bought one, rather than trying to convert an offensively average, but decent defensively LB to a LWB. It's got to be with one eye on the future, although his game will benefit from playing that role.

Shaw is a excellent defensive fb with no weaknesses in his defensive game. He is DECENT going forward. thats why he needs to re adapt his game to play as a wingback. he is our best LB by a distance if we want to switch back to playing with 4 at the back
