Mata, RVP and Rooney will only work with a class midfield that can dominate possession and feed them the ball quickly.

Their problem is that not one of them has the pace AND dribbling ability to drop deep to get the ball and carry it forward quickly.

Di Maria, if we are to persist with 352, would make a massive difference even with this crap midfield because he can do just that.
