Great signing but very pointless and un-needed signing, United needed a CB or two badly. Will be interesting to see how they line up and get on, still think they'll struggle for top 4, will score a lot but concede a lot, bit like pool last season
Worth every penny
Why? We have more pennies than everyone else.
FFP
we did score plenty.. then again we didn't park the bus and play horrible football.

My visiti to Old Trafford will not be boring this year thats for sure
Why is it a pointless and unneeded signing?
He has pace, he is absolutely world class and both Rooney and RVP have so far been abysmal. Add to that RVP may need surgery and he is on loan for only 6m yes his wages are massive however Monaco pay a 1/3 of them. Not a chance is it pointless
More money than sense????
Thought you were talking about arsenal!
FFP really is showing that we have an advantage big time. People think united are in decline yet no clubs at least for the next few years can spend anywhere near the money we can.
Tbh 2/3 of his wages and £6M isn't that much for the season... Carroll probably didn't cost far off that per season for Liverpool and Falcao is actually a top player...
Isn't the fact that your not in CL which is allowing you to avoid any FFP stipulations?
If fit, big IF then he will be a great signing. It does mean you will have to get in top 4 now but your midfield and defence is very beatable.
It's over a 3 year period so we still have to stick to the rules, they just won't be looking at our accounts for this year and the previous 2 to decide on FFP.
Next year (hopefully) they will be checking next years this years and the previous years accounts to decide on FFP.
Well I'm not sure if they use full years or up to date accounts but you get the idea, this year counts toward FFP if we want to play in Europe in the next few years.
We have played 4 matches this season and have managed to score only 2 goals.
Clearly goal scoring is not an issue

Not in the slightest.
FFP is ongoing, if we got into the CL because of all this spending and failed to meet FFP regs, we would face being booted out.
If we'd bought Blind, Herrera and Rojo on the same day no one would be calling him a luxury purchase. Get Ander fit and back in the team and he'll get plenty of service. Cant wait.

City and PSG didn't get booted out. City actually got their penalty reduced on appeal.
Liverpool's defence conceded 12 more than we did last season. Worry about your own defence.
They've also conceded more already this season too.

I hope most teams think so as well.

Considering we've played City away and conceded 3 of the 4 goals there and you lot conceded 4 at MK dons I'd suggest you kept quiet on that one...
Yes... our first choice team out there and everything...
