Was in the same high school as Gareth Bale, he was in the year above me
Oh and Sam Warburton (Wales Rugby captain) was also in Gareth Bales year
I met John Barns on Hope Street in Liverpool.
I met a bloke who signed as second reserve keeper for Hereford United, he never played a first team game and was subsequently sold to someone even more Shiet than Hereford.
Does that count?
The bassist in Prodogy was in the same year as me.
Didn't meet Wayne Rooney but got an autograph of him.
At the last place I worked Szczsney came in and placed an order, funnily enough it was the day that we all used to go and play 5 a side after work. I invited him but he declined....
Also, got my U-10's player of the season () trophy presented by ex Portsmouth sensation Guy Whittingham.
We nearly ran Steve Bruce over on didsbury road.
He swore at us and the guy driving the car was a united fan.
Imagine explaining that to his dad who's also a united fan.
Err yeah dad we have had an accident and ran over Steve Bruce
Nobody will believe this but I was an unused sub in a friendly game Tevez was playing for Corinthians in the academy I played in when I was in Brazil.
Shook hands with Kevin pollack from the usual suspects in New York and William fincher from the dark night and prison break.
Had a beer with Jim Jeffries in the comedy store.
Met Colin bell and Tony book at city.

That's pretty cool.
Met Shane Warne, he pied me off when I asked for a photo
Fat cvnt
I was behind Jimmy Greenhoff on an escalator once
Was in Holland in 1992 met Bobby Robson at the PSV training complex. He was supposed to be running the rule over his reserve team but spent most of the time talking to us. Really good chap. A couple of days later went to the PSV stadium and watched the first team having a training session on the pitch.
Met Dave Myers once in a pub.
He was out with his lad who I chatted to when dave wasn't there and he was telling us how it took them over half an hour to get to the bar one time because he just wouldn't say no to anyone who wanted a photo or just to shake hands or whatever.
Top, Top fella.........

Yeh, our 1st team is in the 2nd division of Brazil, never managed to get a game for them though. I went back for a holiday this summer and the Ivory Coast were staying in the academy I played at. I saw Yaya Toure, Drogba etc. The owner of the team has over 100 caps for Brazil. Got a photo with Marcos, Edmundo and some others.

Had that happened nowadays, it would be a case of 'Just ran over Steve Bruce. He's ok, but the car's a write-off.'
Yeah can just imagine his giant head stuck to the windscreen.
