I predict that i am going to be really peissed off because my son is going and taking his girlfriend and i 'm not. that will teach me to make promises not knowing i am heading back to the sandpit!
I'll be there tomorrow, im going for a 1-1
Depends if your normally a lucky omen or not i guess Nev
I'm torn about this game because they're obviously going to come and defend for as long as possible so it depends on whether we can take one of our early chances or not.
I think it would be fair to say we'll be safe to attack them from the start without too much threat, and we've obviously got the quality to create chances but we have to score early.
So far this season we've scored from pretty much every effort on target, except for Palace. If Vardy had scored I'm sure we would have won it but he missed and we got suckered by two set plays, which is a possibility against Burnley.
We need to be clinical because if they nick one from a corner they'll be very hard to beat. I also have a feeling they'll score because it's been so long and we're usually the club that bad runs end against.
Our next 2 games are Burnley and Newcastle and I don't like that 1 bit.
We're all expecting a cetain style from Burnley - Men behind the ball - so its vital we get the first goal in this on, an early goal would be nice. If we get the first goal then I'll sit quite comfortably for the rest of the game. Concede first and it could become one of them afternoons.
As for Newcastle. I'll take whatever comes in that one if we win tomorrow
CD i havn't seem us lose in the three games i have been too?

In that case you can have my ticket
i'll stick my neck out and say a 3-1 win for us.
2 for Ulloa and Nugents obligitary goal against Burnley.
I got it all horribly wrong for Crystal Palace, thinking City might sneak a narrow victory. I'm not sure about tomorrow. 'll settle for a 1-1 draw.
1-0 Leicester with a scrappy goal and boy would I take that result if it was offered to me now.....
If ever we needed an early goal....

Me too mate. First half I thought there was only one team in it and I didn't think they carried any threat in open play whatsoever, obviously I didn't take into account conceding from set plays. We still had the chances first half to go one up but didn't take them and that's what cost us.

Our finishing is what has won us points so far because we've scored with almost every chance. Nuge mussed against Chelsea and we lost, Vardy missed against Palace and we lost, just goes to show we can't afford to miss chances this season.
I'm sure the players will be well up for this because they know the three points and a place in the top six is very much in their hands. Score first and we'll win, concede a sloppy goal and we'll be up against it but I'm going to stick my neck out and say we will be clinical and we will win.
I think you'll have too much for Burnley. They are vulnerable down their right wing. To their credit, they didn't park the bus at Albion and they played their football, but it just wasn't good enough.
Anything less than 6-1 thrashing, I'll be disappointed. Burnley are desperate to score, so i think they will, but we will score more ( a lot more ) x
Just leaving for pre match lunch. Anything less than a win will not be acceptable. We have to take our home wins against these teams. I fully expect us to win.
In terms of last week - those there will know we were well beaten - I am not convinced we have learned to use the squad on a horses for courses basis.
I praised Pearson for his Man U selection ,format and tactics but winning a game should not necessarily mean "no changes" for different opponents
If the crowd are as good today as last time it will be a huge boost- whoever plays today gets total support
I wasn't there but I watched it and I wouldn't say we were well beaten, we were sucker punched by two set plays, other than that Palace didn't cause us any problems and we missed the chances to put us one up.
If Vardy had scored it would have been a different game, nothing wrong with tactics or team selection.
Leicester conceded an incredibly late late late equaliser instead
