How much was Hazard ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Around £32M me think...

not really

all i have seen so far from him is poor corners, some not bad crossing.
barely any taking on his man...
awful awful shooting.

OK, Di Maria has got a wicked cross on him but whats the point of crossing if we have noone in the box to attack the ball?
He wastes possession every single time he crosses it.

I was going he was going to be running at defenses non stop causing havoc but he has been pretty mediocre to be honest and for 60 odd facking million, we were mugged off yet again

Di Maria being conference standard still could have scored on another day that volley from pass off mata and created the goal which fellaini header was saved before rvp rifled in.

Its funny Fabregas and Di Maria didn't have the best of games but had a hand in each teams goals.

For me:
Current Ability:
Di Maria > Sanchez > Hazard

Potential Ability:
Hazard > Sanchez > Di Maria

In terms of value for money:
Hazard > Sanchez > Di Maria
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Your current ability put Sanchez in front of Hazard. But your value for money put Hazard in front to Sanchez, when both players cost almost the same
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Presumably he's taking into account the greater long-term potential of Hazard.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Pure speculation then..... I don't like speculation

Also, Sanchez is only 2 years older so has lots of room for improvement.

Di Maria looks amazing. He ccreated a lot of chances RVP has missed.

It's a fair point I was just explaining why it's not a contradiction that he considers Hazard better value for money despite not currently considering him to be as good.

on another day, Sanogo could be the top scorer in the league

2 of dimarias 4 assists were mishit shots and one goal an attempted assist that went in by accident

He looks a real threat but the end product isn't reallly there

I'd take sanchez

TKT Di Maria first game he created 3 sitters for our players against Burnley hard to miss for RVP and Mata first half and RVP 2nd half but they somehow messed them up. Di Maria would have had about 12 assists if he had Ronaldo playing in this team.

I like Sanchez, his work rate is brilliant and I would not swap him for Di Maria... that said, Di Maria is a top class player.

OP, I might be wrong her but how has Sanchez played 6 Euro games?

2 qualifiers and 3 group games? no?

Di Maria created 23 chances compared to Sanchez 18. Honestly some of the misses off Di Maria passes that have cost us points in most of our way games he has played could feature in miss of the season compilation.

Oops thanks DaStuDogg

Like you say though all of this is speculation it's just my opinion that Hazard was better value for money because he has a couple more years to develop into a better player.

Every side in the league would happily take and start both players

Impossible to separate but I think on current from Sanchez.

Too many aimless balls from deep into the box from Di Maria and losing possession in innocuous situations for me so far.

He's been refreshing and generally good but overhyped so far. Needs to be playing on the wing and get at his man more, which I don;t doubt will come as we see a more settled United side.

Probably why you sweep roads instead of managing football teams
