Impossible to separate but I think on current from Sanchez.

Too many aimless balls from deep into the box from Di Maria and losing possession in innocuous situations for me so far.

He's been refreshing and generally good but overhyped so far. Needs to be playing on the wing and get at his man more, which I don;t doubt will come as we see a more settled United side.

Glad I'm not the only one. To me it sort of looks like he's trying to do everything. Really I want to see him higher up the pitch where he can either run his fullback ragged with the ball or look to get in behind on the end of through passes and stretch defences. I don't want to see him in a deeper role swinging in crosses like the second coming of Beckham.

Too many times against Chelsea in the second half, Shaw was further forward and wider than Di Maria was!

No one can deny that Sanchez is at the moment more effective, but over the course of a season only time will tell.

@ Hafi, even based on your chances created stat, which is 23 chances by Di Maria compared to 18 by Sanchez.

Not exactly a huge gap, but compare the amount of assists that Di Maria has compared to Sanchez

Clearly a lot of Sanchez's hard work is going to waste, so im not exactly sure what your point is

Hafis just upset sanchez is better

seeing di maria stuck out wide reminded me of why I was not a fan of his at madrid before last season.

He has been a revelation when played more centrally and given the license to get 4wd in a diamond with herrera

Arsenal fans want us to believe the same so why bother make such a pointless thread

As an overall player, I prefer watching Di Maria play football, he's a bit more mobile and better on the ball. Not that Sanchez isn't these things, but I rate Di Maria a bit higher in this respect.

But I think Arsenal needed a Sanchez type more, a real battler, someone who is not afraid to take a game by the scruff of the neck. He will play well even if the team isn't. The rest rely on each other.

Lallana has the potential to be as good as Hazard, Sanchez or Di Maria. It's just a case of coaching. If Brendan helps Lallana like he's helped Sterling we could find ourselves with the two best English players.

If you really want to get a broad opinion you should open it up to fans of other teams and ask which one they would want in their team.

all this talk on Hazard...see below stats this season

Eden Hazard 9 games 2 goals 1 assist
Sanchez 8 games 5 goals and 2 assists

Also created chances is 18 each and shot accuracy is 67% each

Hazard is a great player but even after 3 years under his belt Sanchez has the edge this season on his debut season.
