One can be a proud Scot,Ulsterman,Irish woman, and be Birtish too,in a lovely all embracing liberal democratic way.
No need to kid on being English,or oppressed,or an alien in your own land.
This is the UK,and it ani't perfect, but better than most places to live.
Aw FFS.
We have an Ishmael on board.
The testosterone fuelled rage of the Yessera is so funny
That's Chu btw
I'll deal with you late Dr Ian Paisley Boy.
One of the saddest things I read was how Mighty felt like a stranger in Glasgow, with so many fanatical Nat's in everyone's face.
Spitting in the face of a girl who just happened to have a No leaflet.
The mob at George Sq were thuggish, and attacking a girl holding a Saltire was dire, but the Nat's ramped up some bad feeling, and you obviously cannot accept the result yet,Chu.
I do not like Adams and Marty in govt, but that is democracy Chu.
No Blue bell you can only be part of the larger country...
Or the largest country in whatever union you're in...
Similarly no matter what area you are from in Scotland, you are Glaswegian because that is the most heavily populated area in Scotland...
It makes perfect sense...
I for example am a Londoner (because it has the biggest population in England) English (because it has the biggest population in Britain) German (because it has the biggest population in the EU) and Chinese (because it has the biggest population on Earth
Although the last one I guess I could have gone with American instead based on power rather than population, the rest work for population and power mostly, though not 100% on European populations.
Chu.
Cut me a bit of slack here.
Got a Skype in about 8 mins.
What was my Q ?
My answer to your Q is 'I don't'.
I may also add that it was the testosterone fuelled rants by Sillars and Salmond that contributed to the outcome
The Day of Reckoning speech by Sillars was absolutely priceless
Mighty
Don't tell Chu am in the Dup,as he has me in ukip and the pup already.

Mighty,SAF and I could have done with yer posting on the indy debate build up,as we were in the minority, big time.
I came in for little bits and pieces but its a bit more difficult for me as I am at a natural disadvantage in a Scottish centred debate with a bunch of Scots....
CG
Agreed, regarding the hate filled revenge patter from the likes of Sillars, and Salond, threatening to punish business etc.after the result,if it went indy.
Hey don't go spitting feathers now. Respect the democratic process, Scotland a nation no more, embrace your new cultural identity jezzo it's what you all wanted.
Gotta go for an hour.
I am a West Ender.
A Glaswegian.
A Scot.
A UK citizen.
A European.
Inhabitant of Planet Earth.
Quite comfortable in all of those identities.
The Medieval world's trademark was that people could only function on one level.
That's why it was a savage age.
Ohh wait I just read that again Tbbab... ignore my stupidity!
TBBAB - the result shows that we were in the resounding majority
It's a shame that these new styled uber democrats who got carried away on one rogue poll have not come to terms with the result
Imagine voting yes or no base don what a stranger said on a footy forum - you could not make it up
You rejected your Scottish identity to be part of something bigger. #bettertogether #remember?

We are both outside Scotland, but ahd an interest and opinion, buddy. We are also part of the UK,so rightfully take a view on our future.
I also feel Westminster has let Scotland down, linking the Scottish debate to English regionalism, since the referendum.
We are part of that English regionalism, accept it, move forward and stop pretending.
Chu
Do you think it is a bad thing being English, and I realize you are being "ironic".
I believe there was an anti-English element among some Nat's,although this is always denied.Perhaps more of a gut feeling than an ideology, but present, nevertheless.
Raad it once. Read it twice to make sure.
.....................................................
Then may I suggest English classes as your comprehension is severely lacking!
The reason I originally labelled it childish is because that is exactly what it is, a few of you are starting to sound like spoilt children who are crying because they didn't get their own way.
Sorry to say, but I call it as I see it, I actually mostly like Mick's politics and have no reason to dislike him or insult him...
The only reason for me to say it is because I believe it to be true.
If you enjoy sounding like a child that can't accept he didn't win then carry on exactly as you are fella

I obviously don't see it as a bad thing I have fully accepted it as part of our new identity. It's those noers who have the issue. Can't quite work out why.
Echo all what TMQ says
Except I was born in England - but have lived in Scotland for most of my adult life, my 3 kids were born here - my opinion is as valid as anyone else's on this matter
Chu
