7 million and 1 pound I presume
Wow must be a slow day! Cech still has at least 5 years at the top level if not more. If Chelsea do sell (and Cech says he is happy to stay if the club wants him) he will cost a club outside of england at least £15m and there would be plently of takers.
Jose wouldn't even give us Demba Ba ffs. No chance of him allowing the 2nd best Gk in the pl to join us mugs.
Keeping a player of Cech's high profile on the bench could result in disruption in the dressing room. This might be the first rumour of many, but it doesn't hit far off the mark.

Cech has said himself that he is happy to stay though so I don't think he's gonna cause us any problems. Plus he is still playing a fair bit in the cups comps and CL.
I think Cech is aiming abit higher than arsenal.
I actually thought Arsenal was a bigger club than Chelsea. I guess 1 billion pounds in spending while playing in what is essentially a training stadium can make some fans think they are a huge club.

You thought wrong.
I think it's bull but if Wenger had any ambition he would push the boat out and test CFC resolve and offer £20m. This will also show his own fans he means business and has changed his thrifty ways.
Back in the 70's Cloughie paid big for Shilton and it paid off big style. Watching the purse strings is admirable but should come second behind team building.
no chance when Mourinhos in charge. Cech to Arsenal in January more chance of Robert Mugabe winning humanitarian of the year.
Never will Jose allow such a move inmo. Crazy if he does
World class Cech for only £7 million ??
No I don't think so. We're not a charity.
Maybe we can throw in Hazard for £15 million
Who writes this diarrhea ??
£7m for Cech - some ones completely off their rocker
Mind you I wouldn't put it past the cheapskate club that offered £40m + One pound in an attempt to sign Hannibal Lecter
Can't see Wenger spending £7m on a back up to Szczesny.
We're a bigger club than Arsenal now.
We didn't give you Ba because we saw you lot as our rivals last season, be it for the title or the top 4 finish. Not anymore. So can see Cech going there, a lot more than £7mill though (although he may be in his last year of contract next summer, so maybe that fee makes sense). I would like to see Cech stay in this league. However I think a move abroad, PSG or R Madrid, would be the natural option to pursuit.
Would be an excellent and needed move if it came abt.
Fee is a tad short but feasible, but the destination is anything but feasible. Even suspending your disbelief regarding Cech's going there, there's no chance Wenger would spend 7mil on a keeper. It's been his blind spot since he came to England, a refusal to believe that a good keeper is worth dipping into the kitty for.
You'd expect a bit more planning out of these obviously fabricated rumours sometimes.

Wasn't Ospina around that price
I can picture it now....jose and wenger meet in a disused car park...jose has a 6'3" bloke with a blanket over his head...wengy hands over £7m in a holdall both part company with their part of the bargain
Wengy uncovers his new buy to find we've actually sold them Marc Schwarzer with a note on him
note says....Seriously... £7m for Cech...you french mug
Cech is still worth £20 million, he's one of the top five keepers in the world and still relatively young, just because he's Chelsea number 2 shouldn't mean he is underestimated, he is a top, top keeper, the second best in the league for me.
That said I think the club would allow him to leave for closer to £12 million to allow Cech his choice of club rather than holding out for the highest bidder.
