To be fair to the Taliban, their religion does encourage those who follow Allah to fight the non believers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

That's the problem with religious books like the bible and Quran, people can take things written in them in many different ways, and some of the things that are Mandated in them are evil and murderous

So why pick and chose which parts to believe?

The Quran reads like the ramblings of a mad dictator.

It's all well and good railing against them. But the question is, how?

As does the Xtian bible, the god character in it is genocidal, tortures and murders at will.

For example you can't execute a Virgin under Islamic Law, but it is ok for her to be raped and then executed

Sorting out the Taliban and ISIS is an easy fix. Shame the powers that be in the US and UK are too scared to implement the solution.

I think all religion based on a book written thousands of years ago are naive and bordering idiocy.

Looking at the bigger picture, doesn't matter what you do to the symptoms (the Taliban, ISIS, KKK, Leeds United, whoever), the issue is with the lack of education the people and/or understanding the people who gravitate to these organisations have. There will always be anomalies, intelligent educated people who are involved, the Sadam Hussain's and Adolf Hitlers of the world, but the numbers come from the brainwashed and ill informed. Inform, educate, develop and help - so there are less and less of these people, and you cure the disease of hatred and ignorance, and the symptoms will die off themselves.

Create communities in these parts of the world with bodies that are strong and healthy enough to fight off infection from these types of sickness themselves.

It is well worth reading about by anyone who is interested what happened in Afghanistan in the 1960's, bearing in mind Afghanistan is a country who's women had the vote only a year after the UK and before the women of the USA did. Look up photos of Afghani women from the 60's and be stunned.

Exactly. I don't get why people are so adverse to it. It's a problem area that'll never be civilised, so just get rid.
