Unfortunately anybody who seeks such violent attacks can do so if they have the will. Providing there is no use of modern day communication, anybody can walk into a football stadium strapped in C4 and blow shít up.

Fortunately we have a very good secret service who prevent many of the attacks before they begin.

If there were that many people willing to maim and murder, Paris type attacks would be happening a lot more.

Tescos sells produce grown by Israelis in the occupied west bank. Why hasn't at least 1 person just not walked in there and done something with a gun or bomb?

Although the threat of attack is very real its also blown out of proportion.

It's not really about religion per se. I'm saying it's done prodominantly in a hateful way but the magazine is being portrayed as one of nobility and political integrity, which it is not.

This kind of irresponsible execution of content threatens the speech of those that genuinely want to make valid ans useful points about religion or whatever.

Maybe people who follow the religion should do something to defend and exmplain the parts of the Quran which quite clearly, lead to extremism.

Christianity made a new testament, because the old one encouraged violence and bloody endings.

Not that I'm defending Christianity. Anybody who lives their life by a man who claims to have spoken to some divine creator and parted seas, turned two fish into a thousand and was born without conception is, in my mind, misinformed and deluded.

Man is designed to create more men. Never before man made religion were things like weddings, funerals and blessings of god important. We, like every other animal focused on survival and reproduction.

Why should it be reported, because it's Muslims doing so? Surely that's unfair on all the Jewish and atheist folk also in the streets, using your logic that is.

I've read statements from people claiming that Muslim communities or spokespeople should come out to condemn these acts. They have, yet if it has not reported been adequately reported then the public perception of Muslims not speaking out will persist.

Treading shaky ground there. People should be free to believe in what they want.

I'm not saying 'tell' people what to believe I'm saying teach religion without encouraging or sympathizing with it, no bias either way.

Be clear that it derives from old books written by normal if-not-creative human beings, explain that it is equal to believing in the tooth fairly, the force (star wars), the flying spaghetti monster.

Without education peddlers/fanatics will spread their religion as fact. You will notice that currently and throughout history it is the religious preachers that want to control education because it is as a child/youth that you're most easily influenced.

As for absolute free speech, I'm against it. Cartoons like the ones in CH are harmless (unless you're the cartoonist apparently), however as a society we've already prohibited hate preachers from their right to free-speech and rightly so.

*I'm also in favour of increased monitoring and security. I have nothing to hide. What's most important is the implementation of the increased security measures not being corrupt as in the past/present in places like Russia.

This much is true, and was reported on the national news here in Spain. Muslim communities in some Spanish cities also marched in demonstrations against the killings.

As usual, the media have their own agenda, and I suspect that some might not have been too interested in reporting those marches.

You have close to no knowledge of the Quran.

Provide me with a verse that preaches violence and I will put it in context for you. I guarantee it will be a verse revealed in a time when Muslims were being killed and God gave permission to the Muslims to kill only in self defence.

You see the extremists as with Islamaphobes both ironically interpret the Quran in the same way. Without the historical context.

Provide me with a verse or I can give you an example. Which would you prefer?
