He played in the 7-1 win for the under 21's yesterday against Stoke.

Thorne, expected programme for return, one more 45 mins for the U21s, then a full 90 mins. If OK on then subs bench. Starts first game in the quarter finals. My theory entirely.

Jorvik:-
I was puzzled by the McClaren praise as well. Hendrick is not 100% focused.

I thought he would have been subbed for Bryson.

I see the Rapist Whisperer is back on his usual cup form

As Nigel Clough is the most successful manager in cup football at the moment then it is obviously not his usual cup form. Facts always did get in the way for you didn't they.

Ched could be found not guilty soon.

Possibly building bridges View but he certainly hasn't shown the form he's capable of.

Jorvik - there's definitely something else.

"Usual" cup form, you illiterate spacker. That isn't 'at the moment, that's 'usual' which would mean his norm, and his norm is garbage.

Like your probability calculation ability.

He's fluked an equaliser now, the disgusting criminal apologist.

I think Sheffield United put on a very good show, hard luck.

666 for Christ's sake just leave it.

Leave what, exactly?

You know what, there is no need to keep up this juvenile nonsense about a decent man.

Try to show a bit of class.

If you wish to use language detrimental to the disabled I am certain you could start trolling some sites. Just remember though that there could be disabled people or people with disabled relatives who take exception to such language. I have no problem with banter and throwing insults against those with the capacity to defend themselves. Hope you realise what you have done has crossed a line but I somehow doubt it.

'Decent man'?

That'd be your opinion: are you allowed to share it? Yes? Then what's your point? Is your opinion allowed but mine isn't?

Spart: unbunch your panties, ffs. It's a juvenile term far removed from its original meaning, just like 'moron' and other derogatory terms derived from former medical descriptors. Get a grip.

posted on 28/1/15

No you get a grip. I expected you to defend the language you use. I have no problem with robust language used between "blokes" but you are on a public forum which might be fairly liberal in its use of language there are limits, and in my not so humble opinion your choice of language has the capacity to cause real offence.

Ramdini, this is you're thread, you need to moderate.

posted on 28/1/15

Rubbish. It's no more offensive than 'cretin' or even 'berk', both of which have origins which rendered them significantly more offensive than they are today.

Wind your neck in, you're getting hysterical.

'Moderate'? I hope you're joking.

Just thought it might wind you up more if he deleted a few comments.

My point has been made before, but here goes.

Nigel took over a football club in a mess. He cleared out the over paid deadwood and brought in some very good players and yes some not so good.

His players were so good that SM regularly played 9 of them until very recently.

Nigel has gone to the Blades and has turned then around and taken them a long way in the two cup competition.

He is a decent man, are you?

posted on 28/1/15

You said he was a decent man.

I haven't been to prison to interview rapists for a position with my company, nor would I.

Does that make me a better man than Nigel Clough...?

Yes, yes it does.

You wouldn't use the corruption of the Spanish word for black or even the spanish word for black to descibe someone as they are both now considered offensive.

In a similar way nobody on a public forum would use the corruption of an old word for cerebal palsy or even the uncorrupted version. Some words just become unacceptable.

You have sufficient command of the English language not to have to use them. What would have been your reaction if you learnt I had a child with cerebal palsy. I don't by the way but as you don't know me it could be the case. I expect you, like any other decent person would be mortified.

So you agree that the same words used over time have their impact altered by changes in society.

Which is exactly my point: perhaps have your imaginary child explain if to you if you're still struggling
