For someone who has talked about 'balance' all season, LVG seems incapable of selecting 11 players that resemble a balanced side, even with minimal injuries.

He's gone from almost no creative players and tonnes of defenders, to only 1 midfielder so he can shoe horn all his strikers in.

Just pick 4 defenders and 4 midfielders, and drop a forward FFS.

this 11 is actually infinitely closer to how we should line up then any of lvgs selection in recent weeks and I am very happy with it

But we also have every reason to question the lack of inclusion of herrera. He has been our best cm when he has played.

ffs what is up with you lot today, the Glazers I'm guessing couldn't give a monkey's about the actual football, and they own the club, and hire and fire managers.

For the third time my issue is not with LVG not playing herrera, but with £30m going on a player bought by LVG to sit on the bench.

I have other issues with LVG shoehorning 3 strikers into his team, but that is for another day.
