It's all a bit weird. The Falcao signing was a huge error. But of course I say that with hindsight. I read the other day that a deal could be signed where he stays but is second choice behind Rooney.

If we do that deal I would be stunned and it would say a lot about the ambition of Falcao.

Roonster is not going to improve in the next season's.
How much left on his 250K a week contract ?
Looey has a huge rebuild to do.
Is he the right man ?

That's not really, knowledge though, it's more like a budget version of Adrian Durham. Give us a shout when you're ready to prove everyone wrong.

Yeah, I keep reading that we still may take up the deal which makes no sense what so ever. His time so far has been a complete failure and he will cost silly money in wages, I just don't see what positives there are in buying him?

I must admit I was never happy with the deal as I thought it was a massive risk and I liked the attributes Welbeck offered us, even though he did wanna leave. But at the same time I'm all for taking positive risks which Falcao is because on his day he's a brilliant player, sadly it didn't quite work.

I guess we'll find out in the summer. Maybe the club will see a reduced deal for Falcao being cheaper and more convenient than taking a risk on another new striker.

Just wished we'd kept Welbeck, but as you said, he wanted to go.

I was hugely entertained by your performance at Goodison. That 3rd goal was hilarious. Bravo!

Moyes stitched us up with Rooney's contract. I think Rooney is more of a hinderance than a progression now. He is holding us back unless LVG does what he is known for and benches him.

I see the Rooney haters are out in force again.

It is true he's not the player he once was or the player he perhaps COULD have turned out to be. However he's still been a great for this club and is still going to break records for both club n country most likely. People just have to find faults with him though.

At the moment it's Rooney, a crocked & aging RVP and Flopcao..........Easy choice for me Rooney plays until we get a better player than him.

He's also our captain so you cretins who want him dropped are wasting your time.

And also may i add......C Ronaldo would only score half the goals he does in Spain for this United team. When you have Ashley can't beat an egg Young and Maraoune elbows everyone Fellaini in two of your most advanced positions, you're a poor team.

I'm also critical of Rooney but the problem doesn't lie solely with him. Our team is average.

RVP will score goals is a 433 he did it at Arsenal for years, his strike rate in a 433 was incredible.

Can't be relied upon. Aged as well since then and lost a yard of pace and he never had a lot to start with.

RVP's best days are behind him. You could so say are Rooney's too and it's hard to say otherwise, but at the moment, Rooney is still our best bet upfront until we find somebody better.

Falcao isn't the answer. Can't believe people still think he will turn it around.

So you think Ronaldo would be on 50 season goals right now like he is for Real in our current team?

With Fellaini, Young & Valencia providing most of our "chances", I'd say he'd be lucky to have 30 goals. And that's Ronaldo too. One of the best ever players.
