Aye internationalist Scot's nationalism, that loves all nations and people, except them English.
It would be interesting if labour held power in England, would the snp do so well?
Maybe as rats says, labour are now toxic in Scotland, similar to tories, and labour are viewed as unionists, after they sided wi tories in the indy debate.
The snp got 50 per cent of the Scottish vote,so would that translate to indepence, and Sturgeon said this election was not about independence...........liar liar,as that is all we hear now.
It's fluck all to do with being anti English TBBAB for the majority, stop saying that piish

I think the Sun had one front page in the Scottish edition promoting the SNP, maybe a couple more, but in their main issue is was an entirely different story.
If you mean that the SNP could lead to a one party state then I think you're wrong. I reckon most SNP voters would see them as a means to an end. Labour, Conservative and LibDems look to be finished here now.
The media has played a huge part in letting people know only one side of a story. In the independence referendum out of 38 national publications available in Scotland only TWO were in favour of it, and one was a Sunday paper.
And unfortunately if you ask if people are daft I think the fact that the Sun is the biggest selling paper in the UK says quite a lot
"As Scotland moves from liberal party,to tory to labour to nationalist,I wonder where this change of opinion came from?"
The change of opinion came from a gradual disillusionment with London and Westminster. Scottish voters have been left feeling more and more isolated over the past few years because all f the Westminster parties have been looking after the south. Also with the rise of UKiP this has created even more division as it pertains a lot more to the south than the north.
Anyway who else is getting p@shed?
" It is only because many Scots are a combination of anti-tory and anti-English,as the snp only got 6 seat last time, but English tory boys get the aul hackles up,lol."
In the whole time of the referendum and this election the only hatred I have seen in large amounts has been from unionists, especially in George Square, which was quite disgusting.

It has something to do with being anti-English and anti-British,for some in the nationalist camp, although that does not apply to you or a majority.
What is the difference between being Scottish and being English?
As in,why do you want to govern yourselves,as you stated you are now ruled by the English, not me?
It has been underplayed, but the anyone but England attitude is part of the new feeling in Scotland in modern times, and when the English are tory, that is the last straw.
This is my opinion, and from observation, and even reading comments here,so Icould be mistaken?
A mild loathing may be more accurate than the anti-English,but that is pedantic word play.

I think you're very much mistaken. There are loonies and erseholes everywhere though, on all sides. The more the tories turn the screw on the UK, look after the rich south and London in particular, the more Scotland chooses to do something about it, because it can. And for everything that the SNP wants, the tories want the same for England. Cameron's tories and UKiP are rsponsible for the rise in English nationalism, plus a Labour party that's in a total mess.

I do think you are so mistaken it's not even funny.
Scotland as a nation and we are a nation has a very different view in general to the English. We are in separate camps and we are separate countries within the Union.
Now hating the Tories and the class system and working for corps doesn't make me anti English. It makes me anti that right wing corp ideology. Now the English as a nation vote this.
We are government by England as we chose different governments so many times and get a right wing one, so many times.
Not having the same political views doesn't mean I hate or dislike the English. Wanting to control our own affairs also doesn't make me anti English. Ket us get govern ourselves either within or out the Union and I will be happy. There are sociological differences between both our countries in general and you cannot deny those. I honestly don't see your issue with this and why you think it's anti English to want to govern ourselves in the way we are politically. I will always still love England in this scenario.
Think you are just seeing what you want to in the same way some people think Scotland football fans supporting ABE are anti English. It's laughable.
Anyway I must crash I'm shattered! I'm trying to remain pragmatic in all of this and hope good come out of it, but the divisions that are being created are only getting wider.
Peace y'all

English nationalism sounds like a bad thing,in your post, which is kinda ma analysis of us and them, and nationalism.
Good aul nationalism in Scotland against that bad kind of English nationalism,,,,,,,oh really, why is that?
I am not a tory.or English so please see me as a devil's advocate.
Why should the 90 per cent English population be dictated to by an 8 per cent snp tail, wagging a labour dog,and that is why the tories won.
To create this evil nationalism,English style,
Do you mean Rats Dc or TBBAB?
I don't think there's anything wrong with the English wanting to govern their own issues. Nor is there anything wrong with us wanting to govern ours. Their is no tail wagging the Dog. It's England controlling the UK and always has been for a few hundred years.
