Yes. Just be prepared for Last Jedi level polarisation.

I’ve just finished Ep 6 of Squid Game.
Man that was a hard watch. Think I’m gonna have a time-out on this before I continue.....
really liking it. Acting is so top notch, that’s why this Ep was a tough one.

I like bond as a character unlike Rey, who I wanted to die 2 mins after she was introduced??!!

I will give spoiler thoughts on Monday as everyone who was desperate to see it could have seen it by then.

My beef with Last Jedi wasnt Rey, even if I find her bland and overpowered. The divisive issue was Luke tbh.

Comparisons to the steaming pile that was Last Jedi ?? This is sounding very ominous.

Never seen the last Jedi and never likely to, but this sounds a bit over the top

In terns of divisiveness - I am not saying its bad, I really liked this movie but I can tell a lot of others won’t. And when I say won’t, I mean they will hate it.

When you point to divisive blockbusters: Last Jedi, Interstellar, Iron Man 3, or going way back - Temple of Doom and Return of the Jedi, its unusual for everyone to feel the same way about all of the divisive movies.

For instance, I like Temple of Doom and Interstellar but dont like Last Jedi or Iron Man 3.

Yeah all those clearly paid off five star critic reviews for Last Jedi before it was released to the general public have made me very wary of the initial gushing critic reviews for this movie. I'll wait to see what real people say about the movie on metacritic and such.

I cant say ive encountered these people that hate Interstellar but ive heard people mention theres a big group of them before

I dont think they were paid off - they just want very different things from Star Wars than you. I should say that while I do not care for it, The Last Jedi was more liked than disliked. This can be shown with its A grade on Cinemascore (a far more credible ranking than the easily duped Rotten Tomatoes audience score) and the fact it made a lot of money.

Superb with the devastating uppercut in round 1.

I had a game plan, thought I’d ease my way into it, but Superb obviously wanted an early night…

So much wrong with those Star Wars films.. didn’t actually mind last Jedi .

Rey- totally unlikable. Basically nearly all good guys were unlikable, the pilot guy was a total asshat. I wanted the empire to win 30 mins into the first film .
Great opportunity to reverse roles missed with Rey and the bad guy. Totally bottled that

Good set prices and effects couldn’t save and awful story and characters. Nothing against daisy Ridley either she’s a fine actress, it was her character.

Absolutely.. big time bottle job.
Has anyone come across what Colin Treverow idea for was. Ridley said she cried when she saw the outline for it.
Only for it to be scrapped, him fired and JJ brought back. All the while nobody had any idea what Johnson’s film was gonna be, cos he had full executive powers.
Why was he given so much power, I’ll never understand.
He’s still claiming he’s making a trilogy of his own.

Agree but thanks to Kathleen Kennedy women have to be invincible, totally flawless and always good in the Disney trilogy.
