Lots of people dismiss Skyfall as a bad movie, but I agree it's good right up to the 'Home Alone' style scenes in Scotland.

Enjoyed Spectre, but actually enjoyed Mission Impossible this year more, and that was the first one of them all I had ever seen.

MI 5 was also excellent...seen them all - every one is top notch...bout time MI4 was on Sky again actually

Very cool fight scene there. I still need to see Raid 2, looking forward to that

Watched Spectre over the weekend. As much as I wanted to like it I just didn't for several reasons that I can't be bothered to go into.

Just felt like a huge step away from the excellent Casino Royale and a step back to the daft Roger Moore movies. Was happy when it was over.

No more Sam Mendes please and as much as I rate Daniel Craig as Bond I think he's done now as well. If they're going to make more Bond movies then it needs a shake up as Spectre felt very stale to me.

Idris Elba for the next Bond

New comic book adaption on netflicks this weekend, getting lots of positive write ups on people who have previewed it. Jessica Jones is apparently the darkest marvel has ever been!

Watched Spectre in IMax today, it was alright but reminded me why I never got into Bond films.

I can understand why some would get into them, but nothing tied me into them. With this one the writing just seems lazy and far-fetched, but not in a good way. The action is pretty good, but not spectacular.

Maybe I just picked a bad one to watch

This years Mission Impossible was much better than Spectre

Yup. No real effort is made to explain how the Spectre organisation ties into events of the previous three movies even though we're very casually told in this movie that it's all intrinsically linked and just expected to accept that.

Sadly Spectre felt so dumbed down. I'm hoping that the next Bourne movie is a good one so that Bond can go back to trying to compete with that calibre of movie which it did very well with Casino Royale.

This movie felt more like they were trying to copy Mission Impossible but not even doing a very good job of it.
