Schweinsteiger to United?

Phenomenal signing if true, just read on their board that they've never had a German. Crazy.

Hi castle , just read through it all there.

That's terrible that you got your injury to your knee. Really frustrating.

Especially when you had the talent to go further. Interesting it's so expensive.

I wonder if it would be less expensive in Australia where sport is more accessible and they produce more top players for a country with a smaller population than the uk .

Also, interesting about the change overs in tennis etc and mental strength. In football players can hide in games sometimes and still end up in winning teams.

In tennis if you have a lapse for 30 mins, you will prob lose a set and probably the match. Plus crowd are focused on you at all times.

I know what you mean about it's like a penalty shoot out all the time, each serve and point is crucial and the whole stadium is watching you in silence.

Same expense G3rs fans in Oz, as it is for any player. Football is easier and cheaper as they have the club structure. Tennis you are on your own and you don't represent clubs really, even if you play for them.

Yeah I still have issues with my left knee now with pain and crunching noises in it. I am sure I am going to get arthritis in it long term due to over training with it.

Just one of those things though. I'm sure it's the same for a lot of athletes younger or older. I read somewhere Ian Wright, can hardly walk when he get's out of bed due to old knee damage. I am way of that, but I didn't get his cash.

Every time you string a racquet, it's £20/30, you will have 4 racquets. So every game is up to £120 on re strings. Not to mention coaches tournament fees travelling etc, etc. It's not cheap at all.

No worries Quinn.

TBH I stopped looking at the big cash transfers 5/6 years ago.

It was reminding of playing Monopoly when I was ten.

Castle, who do you think will win between djokovic and federer on Sunday? I can't seperate them at the moment. I think djokovic has the edge because he has amazing fitness but I think federer game today was a level above djokovic's game. So could go either way!

I plan to go to Wimbledon at 7am on Sunday and pay in to wAtch the final on the hill watching it on the big screen.

I still think Djokovic, but if Federer can 1st serve as he did today Federer. Not sure if he can do that again though. It's a tough call tbh.

It would be amazing if Federer could win Wimbledon just one last time.
