My pre match claim of Zen powers has had a bumpy start .. still it's early days and I intend to carry on my one man campaign to influence play
That and only using turnstiles that have numbers that add up to 7
Dominated but no cutting edge,I was bored sh..less,Burnley didn't have to get out of second gear to defend and keep a clean sheet, what was wieman doing on the pitch he's a headless chicken, got to improve immensely!
Derby are improving. As solid defensively as ive seen us in ages. The only player giving chances to the opposition at the minute is Shackell. Burnley are delighted with a point. Enough said.
Keogh was immense.
Hope plenty are chewing on their words.
Keeping Bent may have been a boo boo, not sure that's Clements fault.
And still hoping Wiemann doesn't turn into a Yman.
Really happy with butterflied & Johnson as long term they will get better.
Oh and Cyrus, huge improvement, just need to work on the final ball.
Forsyth needs to do much better on his, love when he runs at a defence though, do it more Craig and down the middle.
Missed the game tonight, damn air delays, didn't leave Gatwick until after 7. The lads appear to have lost the scoring touch but the defence seems OK. At least something to build on.
Igor....we loved the open attacking play of last 2 years but in the end it got us nowhere. Defensively we are sound. Teams are coming to Derby to be hard to beat so it looks worse on us than it really is. We will sort that soon. Im ok...Griff is still not over Macca tho. But in time he will be ok.
Spart...we dominated the game. Its coming tho.
Backs, as I said earlier, not even a cold chill in the air, come spring time, the swallows will be back and us flying high.
Not worried one iota.
Why isn't Dawkins being given a run out? surely better than wieman, more likely to create something ?

That's the real problem we have Baldy, how do we keep everyone happy, yes Dawks deserves a run out but so should Weimann.
Should Bent feel aggrieved?
It's a long season and all will get their chance, I thought Pearce was a sure starter, even the most optimistic thought Keogh was gone but what a Ram he is.
I'd rather we had a settled first 11 but until we get full points at home will we stick to something tangible.
Don't want players getting to know each other even at this stage,
Weimann should not have started tonight, can't hope for some to spark like that.
Still hopeful for the future, getting vibes that we are top heavy on last pay days and not enough on the real badge kisser.
But get a winning formula going, everyone should be happy.
Well some.
The way burnley celebrated at the end of the game you would have thought they had won the league. Burnley played poor tonight and got out of jail because Derby were no better
Derby are getting so predictable at home it's getting Beyond a joke
Was watching at the pub today.

Not mentioned in the article, but I've seen a few people ask why Clement didn't bring Bent on. I don't think he felt comfortable at the idea of us going down to 2 in the centre of midfield, especially against a team like Burnley who work so hard in midfield.
He's just being a little cautious IMO. We will batter a team one of these days, doesnt matter if it's home or away. It's so much easier away from home when teams have to attack us and leave a bit of space to exploit.
Until we start hitting the onion bag, forget about dreaming of staying in the PL if we can't manage it in the now.
We need more at home from the start.
Burnley could have easily taken the lead early on and that's not on.
Clemence OUT
Go get Allardyce, Uncle Mel.

if Bent cannot get on when we are dominating the game at home he might as well f oofff now .
Question balance of squad , bench full of defenders at home , manager changes like for like in midfield , would be better off with Salmon back to come on and chase down , for all his touches Martin is a yard off the pace Bent must be shat in training , if so get someone in quick .To many players who look busy with no end result .
Christie was more of a threat to their defence than our front players , that says it all.
Glad some of you are not in charge of the red button! Talk about overreaction, get a grip ffs. Burnley were a well organised team who came for the point and their game plan worked.
Cstander its the same old same old, teams come to defend,we play sideways, put crosses into the box to no one in particular, hit and hope,no urgency, boring boring boring !
Morning,
I watched all the game last night and the Derby team spirit and togetherness that has been your stock in trade over the last two seasons has gone. There was very little pressing, quick pass and move, harrying of the opposition higher up the field to force errors and pounce. What I saw was a team that doesn’t look 100% fit! What is going off in training? Martin was blowing out his harris before half time. If you were still playing now you wouldn’t have scored. As a fan of a rival club I’m not going to say I’m unhappy about this.
All the new manager had to do was put some icing on the cake, a few tweaks here and there, but he is trying a new recipe that the chefs are unfamiliar with. You have some very good players, of that there is little doubt, but they are not a very good ‘team’ at the moment. Getting them up to the standard you were at under McClaren is a long way off.
The Derby I saw last night was just a shadow of the playoff final team that should have been in the Premier league last season.
Just an honest assessment of what I saw last night.
