It's an insult to Klopp's intelligence to say he'll get the best out of Allen. No way will he have the patience for that.

According to Carragher this signing shouldn't bother any of the bigger clubs then.

FSG out!!!

The Arsenal fans said Klopp is a flop and they are the most knowledgeable football fans in the world.

Is he the highest paid manager now I wonder?

The Guardian reporting that Klopp "is due to be unveiled at Anfield on Friday, having accepted the continuation of FSG’s controversial transfer committee."

If accurate I cannot understand why LFC would hire a coach like Klopp, and not maximise his ability - by allowing him free reign over transfers.

Apparently he prefers to have little to do with transfers - at least that's how it was in Germany supposedly.

With the team you have I wouldn't go expecting miracles.

Rodgers done well considering your board kept selling his best players.

My expectation was that there would be lots of comments on here saying this, and that this would continue ad nauseam. (There’s already been at least a dozen)

I don’t think that’s too high an expectation, you could safely bet your house on it.

He doesn't want full control and worked under a DOF at Dortmund.

People need to research

Liverpool fans expect to challenge for that league but with your squad is that even a realistic ambition?

Aware of the structure Klopp worked under in Dortmund – has been widely reported.

My question, is why LFC continue to use this nonsensical transfer committee – and why would Klopp wish to work within its constraints? Who exactly are in this committee?

It appears Klopp will have exactly the same problems BR faced.

That said it's great to have him in the PL!

This. He doesn't like having to do transfers or contractual stuff. As long as he has people that he trusts, all he wants is final say.
