Sheffield Wednesday charging the Rams for a televised game £52.
I was at that game last season and I paid more than £12.
Totally agree with you Wolfgang. I said the same a couple of weeks ago when I 1st heard how much wolves fans are being charged. It would make sense to do the same price derby fans paid away at Wolves last season. I wouldn't pay that to watch Derby away when it's on sky. It's not as if the club will make more seats available to home fans if wolves fans don't go.
I do think there should be a general agreement on price reductions for televised games. The clubs make enough money from those games to be able to make the gesture, and a big crowd helps the atmosphere
I've just paid £31 for Huddersfield away. Hardly a big game.
Sky game or not, nobody should have to pay any more than £25 for a game at this level. I've a mate who watches Watford home and away and he says he hasn't paid more than £30 for an away game yet in the Prem.
Igor.... I told you not to mention what I charged you for that ticket.
Iwas, luckily I'm away for the next few weeks so miss the Huddersfield game as I couldn't justify paying that much. I slated Huddersfield for charging that but I think what wolves are being charged is worse with it being on sky. Igor do you want my ticket for the wolves or Rotherham game.
I don't pay for tickets, so it doesn't interest me what the peasants have to pay !
I suppose charging wolves fans so much helps pay for the free scarves all the season ticket holders have got
The Rotherham game it looks like Griff.
My Bernese mountain dog is on her way out
So have to spend my days with my best mate for the last 8 years.
Sorry to hear that mate. I really feel for you, I've 2 dogs who will be 13 in Dec and I've had them since they were 10 weeks old and they are getting old very quickly. If you get over for Rotherham the ticket is there for you, only problem is you will have to sit with my dad and brother
Sitting with the Da, would be a privilege mate, getting out of the pub might be my problem though
Didn't clubs used to come to an agreement so the away ticket price was generally similar??

think i read that we are being charged £48 for wendy away.
as wolverhampton, derby and sheffield are hardly boom cities such prices are a complete disgrace.
No argument from me mate.

He's right. I think it was £14 for away fans as they sit in the Steve Bull.
It was £12 to sit in the North or South Bank.
Derby are still charging us more than double what we charged their fans in a similar situation last season.
My mates brother ripped me off then
If memory serves Wolves also reduced the prices for their own fans for the game vs Derby last season. The issue for clubs like Wolves who struggle to get a decent crowd at the best of times is that a live game runs the risk of the ground becoming the Marie Celeste. Unless they also reduce the away fans' prices rhen those away fans will purchase tickets in the home areas which leads to trouble.
For Derby, who get 30K even when live on Sky, there is not the same necessity to reduce prices, so why do so? Just because Wolves are forced into that situation because of its lesser support there is no reason why Derby should do the same. Wolves supporters can watch the game on telly if they feel the price is too much.
The match at Wolves last season was Friday night so you have to do something to keep the supporter from just going to the pub to see the game, especially if they are travelling a significant difference. Sunday is an easier journey. Pricing tends to be based on a commercial not moral basis.
Still peed off that the change in date has made me change my plans for the weekend. Why can't Sky just stick to Games of Thrones and leave football alone?
