Watching us this morning it was like night and day compared to the forest shambles. THAT was the performance i wanted to see, THAT has made me believe the hype, THAT has confirmed to me that "its gonna happen".

Managed to get a good stream last night in Saudi Arabia. The TEAM played well from front to back and if Ince had hit the onion bag in in the final minutes of the game I would have catapulted myself over the nearest mosque. Steve Bruce suffers his first defeat to Derby since becoming a manager and the boy Butters bags a brace.......Ooooohhh, top stuff and I'm a happy happy chappie!!!
That's east Yorkshire done and dusted, now let's go and polish that steel off in south Yorkshire next week....

I think Rubery was very tired 🍻when he posted this.

Last night was a thoroughly professional performance. There is more to come though. You can sense it.

But as good as we were last night, we shouldn't forget it's only 2 weeks since the Forest debacle.

It's 3 weeks actually and why shouldn't we forget it? It's gone and we move on.
Also, why does every defeat have to be a 'debacle' or a 'shambles'? It was a below par performance and a deserved defeat nothing more nothing less.

Because, Chris, we were shi7e against Forest. So we can be shi7e again. Do you know why we were so poor in that game? I don't.
Look at the end of last season FFS. We thought we were up in February and then all 4 wheels fell off.
There is something about PC that gives me great hope but I'm going to err on the side of caution for now thanks rather than feel thoroughly deflated at the end of another season.

Last night we won a big game. 3 weeks we lost in a big occasion. There's a difference between a big game and big occasion. If we had beaten forest and lost to hull we would be 2nd now not top.
