Big days play coming up. good morning by the way!!!
Looks a very flat track like Abu Dhabi. Just what out of form SA batsman need.
BOSS I think its time for you this time to ask where the England fans are?
De Villiers given out lbw but it's overturned on review as there's a nick. We've seen a couple of these.
England have missed three catch chances, none of them absolute dollies but all catchable.
England catch one at last - after a bit of juggling!
De Villiers goes for 88.
might as well shake hands now
Not really still got 2 sessions to bowl SA out.. and have two seessions to bat on the 4th day to get a 350 lead going into the final day.. still plenty of time for a result.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
They only seem to come out when a wicket falls or if they are batting.
FInally abit of form for the SA Batters/
Elgar - Got some form in the 1st test and this game.
Amla - Looking Good again.
AB - Didnt really lose form, the rest just failed around him.
Du Plessis??? Needs to do something
half an hour left of a turgid day of cricket..welldone SA for a producing a pitch that will end up as draw even though theres 2 days left. Hopefully the next pitch will do something.. Something be the apt word..
tbf....don't suppose you were moaning when we were cashing in.....!!!
eh??? i would moan when a wicket gets better to bat on than worse.something not right there.. You'd expect something to happen late ona day 3 pitch..England batted first.. and should have had the best part of a pitch.. I want england to win so biased in that manner. But come on this wicket and others are ruinining test cricket..
The standard of test pitches are a joke..
but SA will still bat last....fair point you make I guess....but it may start to crumble yet....!!!!
It wont do anything.. 2 days to go and no chance of a result.. I want England to win every game. we are still 1 up and thats great..But the wicket as won this test match.. I just read Boycott on the bbc and hes spot on again..
I hope they leave grass on the Joburg wicket.. at least it will do something..Big toss for either side then..
Really annoys me does test cricket when you can play 5 full days of cricket and it can still be a draw. absolute no point in it
A Test that ends in a draw can be exciting. One that you can see is going to be a draw on the first day, not so much.
This is more like what I expected from the SA batsmen - didnt buy into to enaldn pundits talking about England dominating the series. We probably will win the series, but I didn't expect SA to be as poor with the bat two tests in a row, particularly as Durban is typically more bowler friendly than the other grounds in SA.
So basically this Stokes slog fest which is being hailed as one of the greatest innings ever was done on one of the flattest tracks ever?
You should always wait for both teams to bat before judging and hailing certain performances. Stokes did remarkably, no question. But it was on a very flat deck against some pi55 poor bowling from Saffers reserves.
I said yesterday that if Saffers had a wahab type of bowler no way would stokes done that. Steyn really is that important.... But as England fans have rightly pointed out he can only play the opposition on the day
ah well...it was good while we were in bat...inevitable draw now...no way were seeing that many wickets go
historic game all the same...

His innings was great but let's be honest the bowlers aren't exactly SA first choice minus Morkel. Would he have done that sort of innings if Steyn, Philander or even abbot was playing??
