Serial my friend - always read my comments with an open heart and know that cynicism is part and parcel of cricket banter.

Anyway, England scored 2 more runs. Moral victory?

I know you're used to dull uninteresting cricket watching the Pakistanis in UAE but this is boring even by their standards.
______________

Correction - I am used to watching result orientated pitches, which is what (more often than not) the UAE provides. 5/6 games between eng pak produced a result. Although, I can understand why you may have missed that considering one side has won all 5.

what a pointless day at least we will get to see England bat tomorrow..

English supporter are upset that SA played their game and caught up. You could never make it up

I loved it how throughout the test the commentators kept saying the pitch isn't as flat as it looks.

630 v 627

Yeah right.

England aremt the greatest cathching team. But they dropped too many even for them.. I think the heat and bowling for 2 and half days got to them. It tends to happen to most teams.. I applauded SA for batting so well. But when players can press forward and play straight with the bat out infront to defend the ball.. You can tell the wicket is too flat..You expect somethibg to happen on day 3 and day 4.. some uneven bounce or a bit of break up of the pitch for the spinner.. Nothing at all. i wouldnt be suprised if both cook and hales get 100s tomorrow..

I reckon even Jimmy could get a half century on that wicket.

Ridiculous pitch to be honest, something you would expect in the UAE not South Africa.

You really have to look at any batsmen who did not score 150 runs in this test.

Get them in the nets A.S.A.P

UAE where there was 2 results out of 3 while the other was drawn due to slow England batting?

posted on 5/1/16

Cannot believe people are still having a whinge about the UAE pitches, despite 5/6 results in last 2 series and all 5 games having been won by the superior team.

posted on 5/1/16

even on Sky they keep harping on about how "unlucky" they were in UAE.

We were unlucky in the UAE, we were robbed in the first two matches.

UAE series could easily have ended 1-1 with merely the singlest swing fo a pedulum. Frankly Pakistan should be expecting to win that series 3-0 with their bowlers' superior expertise in such conditions.

Anyway, regarless of how good or bad the pitch is, the Saffers hae proved that their batting is still as resillient as ever, despite what certain England pundits were claiming when going overboar after the Durban test. The series will be closer than said pundits were implying, but still think England will win

frankly, England should be whitewashing most teams with the amount of money that SKY have pumped into the game and the number of coaches on the staff.

Cook???

Runs were a lot easier to come by before the declaration. Should have piled 750 on and force sa to reach 550 to avoid follow on instead its in the balance. Didn't need to be.

It would be great if England were 120 all out leaving SA 30-40 overs to get that.

Make it happen england..
