I felt like that when I went to the cinema.

I now think if they had a a vision from start to finish for the trilogy eve she eventually ends up as she did I might’ve been epic

Sadly they didn’t.

Visually though it looks epic

Rise of skywalker is one of, if not the worst SW movie,in my opinion. The CGI looks clean but that's the base line for any SW movie.

I think the solo or a force awakens are worse

Potentially Solo but I thought FA was the stronger of the 3 sequels.

I have mixed feelings over the latest trailer. Thrawn looked amazing but some of the fight scenes looked like it was taken from Obi Wan and did Sabine hint at being a Jedi, because that would make no sense. Overall, I'm still excited for the show but Andor raised the bar, Mando season 3 fell short and I need Ahsoka to bring it up again. I trust Dave, so let's see how it goes.

I was always pretty confident with Ahsoka. She is Filoni's character, he managed her story from the beginning and I thought her continuing journey would be in safe hands.

That second trailer worries me. Good points - the two dark force users look pretty cool and Thrawn in live action will be great.

Massive downside - the suggestion that somehow Sabine is a jedi. I mean, WTF. That's just beyond ridiculous.

I've never brought into the notion that SW has recently overly pushed female characters/heroes. Tbh, it felt like evening things up a bit and mostly that the character was carrying the can for poor writing and character development. However, if they choose to make Sabine a jedi rather than using Ezra as Ahsoka's padawan/side-kick, I'll have to concede the point. Just ridiculous.

I agree but time will tell. I have faith in Filoni and the direction he will take the story and characters.

She was training with a lightsaber in Rebels though right? So it might just be a bit of misdirection that eventually leads us to another Bo Katan type character, as I can't imagine Filoni would be rewriting bits and pieces of his own show, especially when this basically seems to be a continuation of that.
