tbf its star warsrebels was just ezra occasionally flirting and sabine ignoring it
----------------------------------------------------------------------
you think it hit its marks?

He just fancied her, but she saw him as a little brother… so but hey, they may hook up, who knows.

Now I haven’t seen Rebels for a while, think Pun has almost finished it. But it’s been brought to my attention, that Sabine and Thrawn have never actually met.

Thrawn knew everything about her Mandolorian background but never met face to face.
Which when I was told I thought that can’t be right, they must’ve.
So what familiar face was Thrawn talking about. And Sabine straight away knew who he was…
Don’t tell me Filoni ballsed it up!?

The Ezra - Sabine meet had a feeling of teenagers trying to be cool at a party rather than people who had been through battles and war together. It was sh*t.

There should have been relief and excitement and fear. In short - energy.

they never met face to face, but he collected some of her artwork and mentioned her name a fair bit, they definitely know what eachother look like

Ah ok…
Course he did. And there ain’t too many who look like him. ‘Just look out for a guy who looks human, just a bit blue in the face… Red eyes..’

I can understand Sabine's reaction, from her point of view she's totally f'd it all and lost Ahsoka and probably given Thrawn the tools to get back. To discover it's all not completely for nothing and want to enjoy that moment with Ezra and not bring up the bad stuff makes sense.

Maybe Ezra can sense what's really going on but is being tactful and stoic like a Jedi

If that was Sabine enjoying the moment then she hid it really, really well! Looked like she hardly cared.

If she'd been emotional, overjoyed and relieved to see her friend then I could have understood the desire to enjoy the moment, forget about the fecked up situation for at least a few hours. But we didn't see that. Or at least, I didn't.

Yeah I guess maybe she was torn cos she was happy but now she'd found him she couldn't avoid thinking about all the baggage that had led her here.

She was emotionless.

Even before the Ezra meeting, she's acting casual and making jokes with Thrawn. What happened to your friend and master being dead? There wasn't even any mention of that. No anger or doubt or sadness.

But that's not what she's doing. She's just acting like it hasn't happened. It diminishes their relationship in the show.

I don’t know how you’re joking, 5 mins after, when you’ve just seen an old mate get kicked off a cliff to her supposed death…
As I said, I think it’s more to do with bad direction, rather than the actor choosing her way to play it.

So Unless, Ahsoka force timed Sabine, and so she does know she’s coming… but now, thinking about that, each episode has different directors, so it’d be wise for the Actor to talk to the creator, and discuss how to play it, so the actor can be consistent… hmmm…

Dunno, it seems very minor to me. She's obviously gonna put on a brave face rather than go out to Thrawn and cry

There wasn't even a "You'll pay for what you've done" line.

Imo, so far, the Sabine character, is wobbly.
Moments where you say, yeh, that’s Sabine, and then she totally does something left field.
It’s the only thing letting down the show, but it’s not fatal or anything.

Curious… I can’t get a runtime for tonight’s episode.
Doesn’t bode well… I bet it’s under 40 mins.

The last 2 eps should not be shorter than 45 mins.

Pun has levelled up. Rebels has been watched… he could still become a Jedi. But the prophecy has been wrong before…

took him forever, i did half of clone wars aswell in that time (albeit i skipped some of poorly rated filler episodes, but read a wiki breakdown when i did)

Ah… going aboot it another way. I mean that’s slightly cheating, but the filler/ side eps, yeh, yer nit missing much.
But i did in some weird way, like the Droid storyline, having their own adventure.
But there aren’t many filler eps Tbf

i watched like 95% of both, probably helped that i done alot of it at work while i was waiting on stuff to come through

i must have skipped the youngling episodes as i had no idea who the david tenant robot was at first and had to do some googling

I think in this case, cos CW is so intense… a little breakaway, to calm down ain’t such a bad thing…as long as the story is interesting
