How on earth did they knock this out the park with this and totally obliterate the sequel trilogy in just a 45 mins episode of story telling!?
Bravo!

I highly doubt we ever see Thrawn in the Mandalorian buy he is coming in the Ahsoka Tano tv show, which at this point is set in stone.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No doubt a few characters we see in this season are basically adverts for the next show off the stars wars production line.

I’d find it hard to imagine that if there is a Tano tv show and it features Thrawn, that we won’t see either of them in Mando again.

Filonis history in Rebels and Clones shows that he likes bringing characters from the expanded universe into each production.

Thrawn might not be a recurring character in Mando but I can’t believe he won’t at least make an appearance, even if it is just to help launch a Tano show

They've spent 2 seasons building up to Gideon,so bringing in a higher ranking villain like Thrawn would just make all of that story building pointless.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
On the flip side if you spend two seasons trying to get away from Gideon only to finally do so and find out there's a much bigger threat, lends itself to a longer storyline and Mando needing more friends to help him out

Well, I had no idea they were gonna make an appearance let alone be mentioned in Mandalorian.
Thought we were just gonna see the adventures of Clint Eastwoods ‘Man with no name’
But they have set it up now. Tano spin off defo sounds right, she looks fantastic. And just like that, Disney would’ve struck gold with the strong female they always wanted, and the fans are gonna love instantly.
But risky though, cos what’s her story now?
Is she looking for Thrawn to find Ezra?

I don’t think they are ever gonna bring back Rebels in cartoon form. But Sabine, Ezra, Thrawn can do this crossover. To me it’s looking more likely they’ll appear in Mandalorian at some point.
I mean what’s the expiration date on Mando? 5/6 seasons at least I’d say.

Hard to know. Clones was about 135 episodes, Rebels about 75. But Mando needs to generate $$$ as it looks expensive. Be hard to see it reaching those levels. So yeah maybe 5 series for about 40eps

Friday’s episode is 32 mins.

Less opening and titles and it’s about a 28 minute runtime

Couldn’t break the cycle and have two good episodes in a row could they.

Strange isn’t it.
I can’t work out how they are coming up with these weird run times per Ep.
The shows a hit, we can see how they are saving money with ingenious film making.
Although the real-time effects most cost a pretty pennÅ·.
But they own it, and it’s Disney.
Unless they blew their load on all the Marvel TV stuff that’s about to drop.

I like numbers so shhhh

If the 33 min runtime thisweek is true, given the info on wiki, the total run time for the 6 episodes in series 2, is a nice round 240 mins.

That’s exactly 40 mins per episode.

I reckon runtime wouldn’t be an issue if each episode was straight up 40 mins.

Maybe 45
