Last years team was terrible though. 5 have been sold, 2 are about to be sold and Dembele was in terrible form

I'm with chronic here

Some players badly need minutes, and the league game is MASSIVE, so I'd really like to see more of the squad players in the cup game.

Mason, Bentaleb, Chadli, Trippier, Son, Vorm... should still be enough.

yeah the league game is absolutely huge. has to take priority.

arsenal play Liverpool that day too.... a win would put us in a nice position potentially.

I am not happy with carroll starting league games... he just isn't a big enough presence in there.

I'd play Son on the left when Davies plays, which probably means Davies gets the nod for the league game and Rose for the cup one (when Son goes up top)

I'd like to see Chadli tried up top with Son for the cup game, with Eriksen at left mid and Rose at left back

CUP - nice little hub down our left, Eriksen and Chadli like that side, and Rose behind them. Tends to be a combo which works. Both forwards happy to drop off

Feels more like a Poch team/shape, and one I think I'd prefer than a 442 which I don't think Onomah or Eriksen suit so well.

Can see the front three swapping and being more fluid this way too^

More of a 442 is similar to how we lined up against Monaco in the cup when we did them 4-1

Eriksen on the wing is more of the problem for me...would rather he switched inside as part of a midfield 3.

He didn't play against Monaco, and as a player doesn't particularly fit into any kind of 442 system.

If this season's league cup is anything to go by Ranieri will field a completely different 11 in the cup. He did that in all 3 league cup games this season and I suspect he won't treat the FA Cup any differently.

Looking forward to the game regardless. Any recommendations for an away fans' pub - probably going to be walking up from Seven Sisters tube??

I totally disagree. If he came from abroad for a large fee instead of through the ranks his ability would not even be in question.

When fit, he's as good as anyone else in our squad and deserves a bit more credit IMO.

I totally disagree. If he came from abroad for a large fee instead of through the ranks his ability would not even be in question.

When fit, he's as good as anyone else in our squad and deserves a bit more credit IMO.

Absolute nonsense

Has some ability but numerous times I've seen him pass the ball off the pitch under no pressure, get caught in possession, can't keep the ball under pressure like Dembele or even Bentaleb...

There's a reason we didn't make it at Spurs until 23/24 and his breakthrough being mostly down to his work rate. Because that's what he is mostly, a workhorse

Why would his nationality make a difference?

Capoue is a better player than Mason but was moved on.

As for his ability being as good as anyone he's no where near has the ability of Dembele, Alli, Dier or Bentaleb who all play his position ( or variations of it ).

Like I said okay squad player but never will be a top player
