Don't see what the problem is tbh.

At least the number of people who would move if a black family moved in next door is going down.

As bowie once sang... This is not America..
Who gives a fk about what happens over there, loonys the lot of them.
The only way we can avoid this kind of racism is to legalise drugs....
That's my angle anyway....
Anyone seen the film Kill the Messenger? It exposes the government/CUA making drug deals with Mexico and Colombia with the sole purpose of getting the very poor black Americans addicted to drugs. That's had a knock on effect.
Obviously this is a theory but interesting movie

Won't help. The racists would still have another 100 reasons to kill, maim and jail black folk.
It's not the drugs that hate, it's people that hate.
Feel free to recycle that line as your own.

Can't really say the same about our police force, especially the Merseyside cops, they harass any male under 25. Back in the day before the filth had computers onboard their vehicles,I had 6 produce your document tickets in one a day.
Always disliked the term "african-american", I mean wtf does it mean? What is wrong with just black people or black Americans? If you're going to talk about people based on their skin colour, then speak about people based on their skin colour not some imagined affinity
to a continent 3000 miles away.

The "War on Drugs" isn't a war on drugs but a war on class.
Doesn't matter what race you are if you're poor the "War" is designed to keep you down.
For example the prison sentences for gettign caught with crack cocaine is 3 times as severe as it is for powder cocaine. Why? Because crack is a poor mans drug and powder is a rich mans drug.
So if a poor black/Latino kid is caught with a few grams of crack he get's up to 30 years in prison! If a rich white kid is caught with the same amount of powder he usually escapes prison.
It's all designed to keep a class down, watch "The House I live in" a documentary on Netflix by David Simon who created the Wire, it's a real eye opener.
-Five times as many white folks use drugs as black folks
-African-Americans are sent to prison for drug offenses at 10 times the rate of White Americans.
Statistics can be misleading. I would bet that the majority of people convicted for drugs offences are dealers. So all this tells you is that more black people are drug dealers than white people

the op stats are quite raw with no context and with no explanation of other factors involved
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Statistics
I read that 15% of deaths on British roads are caused by drunken drivers, that means that 85% are caused by sober drivers. Draw your own conclusions
Also 10% of women admit to having been treated for mental illness, which is fooking scary, it means that 90% are roaming amongst us untreated
No black man has grown to adulthood without suffering the pain of racist discrimination
----------------------
How can this even be measured?
-Five times as many white folks use drugs as black folks
-African-Americans are sent to prison for drug offenses at 10 times the rate of White Americans.
--------------------------
And it seems White folk are better at not getting caught
-Five times as many white folks use drugs as black folks

Very few 'black' people are actually black. We are all just different shades of brown so if we are basing it on colour they should be called brown people or chocolate people.
Also, most chocolate people are very proud of their heritage and link with the motherland. I don't see how it's an imagined link, it's a very strong link.

I do indicate that it's just a tip of the iceberg. Perhaps you can be kind enough to contribute what you feel is missing? Thanks in advance.
