What's the point in the Bundesliga and League 1.

Serie A is competitive, can't complain there, La Liga is a cannon fodder league too

You dont see a french sunderland beating PSG or a German Leicester topping the league.

La Liga is DOGSH*T. Madrid had ELEVEN away fans a few weeks back, ELEVEN.

La liga is definitely not as bad as made out. The top three sides in the Spanish liga are far better sides than any team in the Premier League - absolutely no doubt about it. Even the likes of Villareal and Sevilla who by the way have won the Europa League in the last two years would definitely give the likes of City, Arsenal and United a proper game.

Spot on Kav. The snobbery of some is breathtaking

so its looking like only the premier league is competative on many levels. Thats what makes for good viewing. pretty much anybody can get a result with a little effort. Sunderland beat utd today WBA won away at Everton, no mean feat. Now whats the betting Newcastle will frustrate the hell out of us just to prove a point.

No but you do see their top teams comfortably beating our 'best league in the world' top teams..

A poor league made poorer by PSG becoming a top top team; now there's no competition in it.

I dont think if they played in the EPL they would have it easy. They would be bombarded with high balls. The West broms, Stokes and other hoofball teams will defend and target set pieces to beat you.
Also the pitches in the winter will be harder to play on.

Teams in the bottom league dont want to play football in their own half. They would go route one to the big guy to win free kicks and corners.

I don't think real or barca would have any problem with the likes of Stoke or West Brom, even in wet, windy Tuesday's. Stoke and west brom will never have faced teams with that level of quality, ofcourse you could flip that around and say Barca etc haven't faced overtly physical teams, but I think quality would tell-and there is a massive gulf.

Stoke is probably a bad example these days as they are moving away from that physical style to a degree.

Agree with you. Those scotish are jealous of the EPL clubs, so every time there is a oportunity to have a dig they will do it. The premier league is the best for most of the people in the world. The prove is in the puding when most of the continents(Asia, Africa, North America) in the world watch the Premier league and nobody there gives a fack about la liga or other league.

I think you'll find that's not true. Sadly it's only money that's mad it that way too. Without sky's manipulation the PL would arguably be a very different place now.

Sky bidding huge sums of money for the Premier League because it has a lot of viewers around the world. Companies and sponsors want to be associated with the league because it has a lot of reach around the world. The bundesliga and the Serie A wanted to sell their tv rights in Asia and nobody there wanted to buy those,

Now they are. They weren't back at its inception, but this has much to do with technology becoming available to distribute it to the masses.

Back in the beginning it was just sky. And they are more responsible for the way it is now than anyone else. It's their baby, part of whats made them such s big company, and their marketing is first class-as I can see by your posts. In essence it's really the Sky premier league. Although, other fish are biting now.

Maybe a good point, but not the point the poster is making - which is true!

AM apart winning the league two years ago, that will probably not happen again for years as RM and Barca will continue to throw money, to ensure they maintain a two team stranglehold on La Liga!
