Mahrez has had one season where he has been better than hazard. When they were both in the French league hazard was winning back to back player of the year anf Mahrez was sitting on the bench at a no mark French club.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So? It doesnt mean Hazard is a better player because he's not! Mahrez is way more skilful, a lot more exciting, has a better attitude and has already surpassed his stats from last season.

Hazard has done it every season since he was 18, bar this one. Mahrez has had one good season in his career.
I love watching him play, and he should walk player of the year but let's see him stay at that level of three or four years. I don't think he can.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ligue 1 is not PL level and Hazard has done it once at PL level but not as well as Mahrez has this season. Player for player, irrespective of past achievements, Mahrez is a better player.

I think Mahrez is a better player and I think it's irrelevant what he's done before. Now, in 2016, Mahrez is a better player. If you told me Barca would buy Mahrez and we'd get Hazard I'd be gutted. I don't rate him as high as you do obviously.

I don't rate him massively highly. I just don't think you can ignore Hazards achievements over 5 years when looking.at 8 good months for.mahrez.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think this season and the end of last season, when we started using the strengths of Mahrez and Vardy, he's proven that he is a very very good player and will only get better from here. He oozes class and isn't dubbed the Algerian Messi for no reason. Has Hazard ever been called the Belgian Messi?
I personally think it would be daft for him to be a benchwarmer at Barca and I think staying would be the best thing for his development, because let's face it he's still young and very inexperienced and a move now could be disastrous.
Big moves don't always work out and in my opinion he will undoubtedly become a better player at Leicester where we play to his strengths and he enjoys his football. He's still got four years until he reaches his peak and there is a lot of improvement still needed for him to be first XI at Barca.
I think he'll stay though, I don't think he'll feel it's the right time to leave either and I bet he'd want to have at least one season in the CL with Leicester knowing that a good CL campaign is going to make him even more wanted.
Arro how much is Mahrez on a week?

About £40k is standard, that's what Vardy was on and he's on £80k now I believe.
Mahrez is due to be offered a new contract too so I guess it will be something similar but I read that their bonus scheme for next season is expected to be a lot higher. I think and don't quote me because it was a while ago that I read it and I can't remember but I think it's £1000 for a draw and £5000 for a win. Not sure about goals and clean sheet bonuses, I didn't hear anything about that.

I don't think he's good enough to play in Barca's first XI with the players they already have but I still think he's better than Hazard and I don't think he's good enough either.
Barcelona are the best team in the world and right now, Mahrez isn't good enough but give him a few more years and I definitely think he will be.
If Barca think they will get him for £15m they're going to be very disappointed and I would say unwilling to pay what we'll ask for him.
If we're asking for £30m for Vardy, who is 30, then expect to at least double that for Mahrez and all of a sudden the willing clubs dissipates.
Our owners aren't mugs, they don't need the money, they don't care about the money and they want to keep our best players. Their plan is to build a team that will challenge the top five every season, not just this one.
Mahrez still has three years left and will be offered a new deal so his value is going to increase. If anyone wants him then they're going to have to pay a lot more than they expect.

Hazard is clearly a better player than Mahrez, and Vardy, WTF is going to want a 30 year old other than on a freebie. both no doubt wil vanish without trace next season, as will Leicester.

Leicester are not asking £30m for Vardy much like Spanish teams are not asking £100m in their release clauses so I'm not sure that's relevant.
The issue Leicester would have is if Barca came in and Mahrez started kicking up a stink. They gave managed get get numerous players reletively and surprisingly cheaply over the years.
Not from our owners they won't.
If Mahrez doesn't play, and his presence affects the team, yes they will.
There's a few imaginations running wild here - I think a few people are dreaming up scenarios that their desperate to see

Or perhaps scenarios that followers of the Premier League have seen time and again, season after season.
Leicester fan's arrogance that they are in some way different to every other Premier League club ever really does rankle.
