Rubbish. There is no need for him to come out and try stir things up.

Rangers got treated just like any other club. You actually got away with alot.

Rangers go down have suffered and found themselves relegated or in the process of being relegated.

That is just pure bitterness right there.

Hand back your tainted titles and apologise so that Scottish football can move on.

"There was no necessity for Rangers to be put down into the Third Division"

I agree 100% with Walter on this.

That's why it didn't happen.

Rangers were of course admitted to the bottom tier of the Scottish league system (and quite against the rules at that), but they were never "put down" anywhere.

Wisnae that when he was selling his arsse for Charles Green

posted on 12/4/16

I hardly think Walter Smith is a nutter.

he may have erred in his choice of words, however a fine man he is

By Walters logic any club could:

1. Stop paying taxes
2. Enter admin
3. Get liquidated
4. Spiv buys the assets
5. Set up newco
6. Start life in the same league.

Is he really that stupid?

Why come out with this guff before an old firm game?

What was he hoping to achieve?

For Charles Green getting Smith on board was a real coup. It won over a lot of doubters and allowed him to fleece them for millions.

John Greig left because he didn't trust Green, fans called him a freeloader. Walter Smith backs Green, fans buy up tickets.
