You could hear Hednesford raceway from our house.
And the roar of the Heath Hayes end at Keys park for a couple of years when the Pitmen were in the conference.

We must have lived nearby in those days. Used to enjoy going to the Monday night games at Keys Park
I used to live up near the Traff in the 90s DJ, but my folks live on Hill Street. Followed the whites a lot before I was old enough to go to the Wolves.
Did you ever go down the old ground behind the Cross Keys, great atmosphere down there even with only 400 in.
England 45% - 55% Norway
England 6-1 Norway

Jack Price is the latest player who seem s to be quietly singing the praise of Walter Zenga. It's interesting that many of the previous squad appear positive about the upheaval.
However, speaking of one of Walter's statements Jack is quaoted as follows: "“Everyone probably wants to play 46 games, that is what footballers want. But the gaffer has said it is better to play at 100 per cent for 46 games rather than 50 per cent for 23."
I think either Jack or the article's author may have got that wrong. On the other hand, 100% for 46 games might be quite an achievement.

I posted this link on the Murder, Death, Kill thread - or the current affairs thread as I like to think of it - and posed the question can anyone see the glaring error? Well done Wulfrun, you spotted it
Jordan Graham now 8 weeks away from returning to training. Williamson and Zyro still quite a way off returning.
But E&S reporting that Zenga has a fully fit squad to select from this weekend. I guess what they mean is that every player is fit apart from those that aren't
The more I hear from Zenga the more I like him. Very nice comments on the E&S today about Brian Clough. Zenga seems to have a genuine passion and interest in the game of football and its history and its characters.
I really hope that Wolves have unearthed a good 'un this time.
Really looking forward to tomorrow, cant remember the last time I was able to say that.
Still a long way to go but we should have the fire power now to get past plucky teams like Burton, who will run around like maniacs and play like Brazil for 75 minutes.
Hope we finally get to see more of the new faces now they have time to settle in. Only Bodvarsson and Teixeira have had much opportunity so far. Hopefully we will see at least 3 from Costa, John, Oniangue, Saiss, Borthwick, Cavaleiro and Gladon in the starting 11.
Burton & Barnsley should be two games where it shouldn't be too much of a risk to introduce the new guys. Also coming off a defeat may act in Zenga's favour if he does want to make changes. Had we beaten Huddersfield there would have been more pressure on him to stick with the old guard
Given his comments about rotation I guess we will see plenty of changes on Tuesday regardless of how we play on Saturday
Pleased to see that those responsible for the attack in March 2015 on Nic Cruwys, the Watford fan, have been convicted of various offences. Some have received custodial sentences and all have been banned from Molineux for life. Good riddance.
