Did you actually watch the Wales v Belgium match? Hardly ultra-negative, Wales won on merit, the better side.

Wales fully deserved their victory over Belgium wulfrun, no doubt about that, but they did adopt an ultra negative style against england of all teams and suspect if they made the final that is what we would see, especially given the way France or Germany would play.
Edwards will surely feature in the semi final given they are two midfielders light, fantastic news for him but you fear for Wales losing two key players.
That said, portugal really are a poor side and even Ronaldo has had a shocker, amazing they have got this far.

Two former and one current this time out.
The other lot have cost England dearly.
Looks like Dan Ashworth is on his last legs - a complete disaster according to my sources*
Spends all his time drawing up DNA spreadsheets (I kid you not) as he tries to profile the perfect human being. Of course, Hodgson was ex Albion and knew Ashworth well. To think that Ashworth is in charge of choosing the next duffer - Southgate doesn't want to know, so that leaves only Big Sam or Glen Hoddle.

Wales certainly have a chance against Portugal who are not as good as Belgium. And Bale has certainly out shone Ronaldo in the tournament. Think Wales are without Ramsey though which is a big loss. Should be two good semis to watch although very different types of games
We're gonna keep Edwards, Batth and Ikeme if possible. Experienced players who "some on 'ere" will say are too old and we should just play "the kids", but between them add a whole lot of experience to the squad:

Good to read that these contracts should be extended. Edwards has surely cemented his place amongst the Wolves all time greats, with him bring a part of the fantastic Wales Euros story. I do fear that we could lose him, but hopefully any remuneration would be substantial.
We have no chance of keeping Edwards, he has been sensational at the euros and was an absolute general for us last season if you ignore results.
Shame as he deserves one of those charity game things for being a thoroughly nice bloke.
