Kung fu. Like the brits that fled to canada and austrlaia to avoid war, the Syrians were refugees when they were fleeing Syria. Once they left romania and Hungary and Serbia to get to.more.affluent counties they became economic migrants. I provided dictionary definitions to help.you with this mate. Bluebell, just because it's not a science doesn't mean to say that very educated guesses can't made, and most say we will be worse off.
Your view of what the majority of the British people want is also not scientific, and could be wrong.
I have absolutely no idea what Germany will want in the future, and neither do you. But we will still have a veto, and however successful they may become commercially, certainly doesn't mean they can do what they like.
I strongly believe our security and economy will be much safer in rather than out.

I was racially abused by many, the P word featured a lot even though I have North African heritage and the usual N*g*a and C**n.

It was a long time ago though and I live in a multicultural area now where everybody gets on.

I don't look like a stereotypical Muslim, some of my family do though and in some areas outside of my town they have been physically and verbally abused.

That's what your definition says.

It doesn't say anything about not being a refugee if you travel through countries to get to a country you want to live in.

If we had a situation where I had to flee the country for my life I may land in Belgium but would try to find my way to a country where I could at least speak some of the language, to help me get a job and begin rebuilding my life.

I asked where dictionary definition of a refugee said you had to stay in the first country you came to, which you ignored.
I think the Syrians fled Syria to avoid being killed, and headed for the country which would be safe and give them an opportunity to rebuild their lives.
