Per the Telegraph:

The higher the level of education, the higher the EU support

According the polls, university graduates were the most likely people to want to remain in the EU - while those with a GCSE or equivalent as their highest qualification were more likely to back Brexit.

This was a pattern that was reflected in the results.
............................................................

This highlights that those who spend many years in one institution, education, are more likely to vote in favour of another institution, the EU.

Only those who've led a sheltered life or happen to be an idiot (or both) would read more into this.

Alright, how about this then:
I went to university and studied law. I studied EU law specifically and am therefore aware of the complex machinations and much of how EU law is passed and on what principles it operates. We also did constitutional law at a national level.

Nobody from my course would argue that the EU was perfect. Nobody would be stupid enough to vote leave.

It's about being informed. Most are not.

Can understand why no-one studying EU law would vote leave, as their knowledge will now be pretty useless in Britain in a few years time.

We don't need to be part of a union with 27 other countries to pass common sense laws or have principles, that's not the case anywhere else in the world.

So that'll be yet another failure on the part of your ''informed/educated'' peers.

My, my, the list gets longer by the day.

So you understand the implications of TTIP which would create a very serious risk that the NHS could be sold off to America drugs companies who would then charge us a fortune for their own drugs.

Arent the EU looking to pass this?

posted on 26/6/16

Yes the EU are looking to impose it on member states and it could still apply until we leave if we're subject to new EU laws.

Not the EU as such, large (global) corporations and 'the elite'. TTIP is a FAR greater threat to ALL OF US and hasn't received the publicity it commands.
I wonder why?

It is a trade agreement between the EU and US, so it will be a requirement of being in the EU. TO say it is not the EU as such is misleading. It is the EU and apparently is at risk after Brexit.

EU imports are subject to 1.5% tariffs ..... the end of the world is nigh

Typical Metro Elite thinking! The same mind set as the EU commission Gauliters.

If the EU want a quick resolution Parliament should pass a sovereignty act repealing the 1972 act that got us in.

Home and clear, no faffing about. Offer citizenship to the people who want to stay, give the rest six months to apply for work visas, or leave.

Carry on with making things, offering services and sell them to European companies or retailers, if they put up tariffs, we do the same.

Simples.

That's the way an uneducated person sees the situation. It's called common sense. Something that I have found is whittled out of individuals at Institutions of Higher Learning.

Gunadave, you should of added that if we offer citizenship to Europeans who want to stay, the EU should also offer citizenship to all the Bremainers who are so clearly unhappy with the idea of living in a Britain that is not part of the EU. Id be quite happy to let them leave.

I digress on the debate about intelligence. However, this is poorly thought out because these tariffs are already in place. The EU encourages trade within the EU first and foremost. The EU is the UKs biggest partner, no?
By leaving the EU, the UK comes automatically under the scope of tariffs and policies for non EU members.
This is why going to college is a good thing. It teaches you how to properly research stuff and find the information that suites your requirement and most importantly, how to deduce sensible rationalisations and opinions from the information acquired.

Mamba thanks for your analysis, however they are our biggest trading partner because they make it impossible for us to sign a trade deal with anybody else. They are at heart protectionist. In the past 10 years our percentage of trade with them has dropped from 55% to 45%. That means our biggest trading partner is the ROTW. Now we will be able to grow our trade with the ROTW.

Sorry but university students are the most miseducated people, you're (we're) effectively taught to think a certain way.

Most of these so called expert haven't a clue about money, business or the real economics that is why the last crash took people by surprise and only a few contrarians were warning people from years before.
