She (why assume male, sexist ) was saying something about how one of her students did a project on poker and the maths behind it. I've never played poker, but she said that there's a lot of maths in the game.

Maths, or sizing the odds only takes you so far in poker.

Tbf, my stats professor was female too. I always responded better to the male maths teachers for some reason

Blackjack can be a nice little earner if you can get a few mates on the table and if they can play the percentages

Have to say, I play a lot of poker. Just love the challenge of the thought processes and calculus necessary to make it work for me.

Astonishing to think there may be people on these boards that would dare play the game. I would dearly, DEARLY, love to meet about 90% of this boards contributors around the table. I'd never need to be concerned about earning money ever again.

indeed, if there is anybody on here that sincerely believes herrera or lingard are MUFC level footballers then they are clearly muggy enough to be deserving of nothing more than ...... ahem ........ redistributing their capital with my ....... ahem ..... help.

Moved away from Texas onto Omaha-pot limit recently as the variables increase the action. Plus I just got fed up of pre flop all ins or fishes sitting on rag Aces with them hitting their pair A's on the river whilst I've raised each street with Kings.

Yeah, I've never really got into it online because it's just so different. Players constantly dropping in and out, can't see the people obviously, just feels like you have to play the percentages and hope for the best.

Casino you'd probably get torn apart pretty quick, but poker nights at local pubs are usually pretty decent.

I've never bet anything in a casino Tbh, don't think my ego could handle the loss. I've seen friends lose plenty on the roulette wheel though.

Sideshow, 21 always seemed pretty boring to me. Guessing it's a hell of a lot different with money on the line though.

Is gambling even allowed in your religion ?
